Had never really sat down to listen a LZ album before, it was quite an experience, really enjoyed the bass and vocals, but I'm not too fond of Jimmy Paige as a person, really good album tho
Good vocals and really strong lyrics, one of those albums to just vibe to when doing homework or doing some other chore, not MY favorite type of rock that Beatles esque sound, but not bad
This album has some bangers (I'm speaking to you 'Patterns'). At first I wasn't sure I was enjoying myself, I don't tend to listen to this genre of music like every, but as I kept listening it began to grow on me. It implemented the instruments in a magnificent and beautiful way. I will be adding some of the songs to my playlist after this, really glad I got around to listening to this one.
It's one of those albums where you can feel the time it was made in, despite not being overtly political.
Zero hate, but I only cared about Jeremy, not only because of the story behind it, which I already knew, but because it's the one that resonates with me the most. The other songs are good, but they all mesh with other nu-metal ish songs, don't get me wrong, it's not a bad album, it's just not my favorite genre. I know Pearl Jam predated many of those Nu-metal acts, but I feel like those that came after them perfected the style.
TLDR: It's alright
This is a personal list, so I don't feel bad rating it like this, this was a total snooze fest, not a single song really made me feel any emotion that wasn't boredom, it's well produced I guess, but I can't really tell why others would like it a lot.
2/5
I'm falling behind on my albums, but God I am thankful for having listen to this one. What a banger! I had no idea I needed a song about how great black women are, but I am grateful
This is peak. I need to check more of Jethro Tull after this
