Metallica by Metallica
Apr 20 2026

This is not my style, but I did enjoy some of the melodies. There are classic songs like Enter Sandman which I quite enjoyed. I might go back to this. 3.5/5 Some of the songwriting was quite corny imo. Still figuring out how review an album.

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Apr 21 2026

'Players only love you when they're playing' Me encanta este album. 4.5/5

Songs Of Leonard Cohen by Leonard Cohen
Apr 22 2026

3/5 It has some raw moments where his voice can expand or twitch and it really reflects authenticity. It has thoughtful songwriting that I might have not been able to appreciate in just a day. This album might grow on me as I age. Simple, thoughtful. I really liked that song about Marianne.

...And Justice For All by Metallica
Apr 23 2026

I mean points for the fact that this might have been really controversial at the time -it might still be. I appreciate the sentiment of anti-establishment and the critique of it. However, the lyrics are written as if a 14 year old just found out the world is unfair and corrupt. Plus, at first I was excited about the use of that thing when the song starts slow and the it explodes, but to my disappointment that happens in most songs. Most songs have the same monotonous structures, I felt that instead of listening to a mature project, I was listening to one of those one hour lofi YouTube videos to study, but for metal. Points for ‘One’ because the first two minutes are actually sonically interesting.

The Velvet Underground by The Velvet Underground

Love love love pale blue eyes. This album feels almost like a 4 star tbh but not quite

Boring

Bubble And Scrape by Sebadoh
Apr 30 2026

I was really really into this. Soul and Fire is amazing. The album is cohesive throughout the rollout but not repetitive. It has a great, interesting sound, and good lyrics. I will definitely continue listening to Sebadoh. And this album made me feel excited after a couple of days of listening to albums that have a similar sound.

Lost In The Dream by The War On Drugs
May 04 2026

This album is just beautiful. It feels so deeply authentic in the way his voice is able to portray melancholy, regret, and hope (at least for me). And this is just for his voice, I still want to analyze the lyrics. For me, this is higher than just songwriting, because the instruments along the songs are able to convey so much more. Furthermore, the songs throughout the album are cohesive, but still have their own identity. Love this album

Boston by Boston
May 06 2026

I’ve never liked their famous song lol.

Trans Europe Express by Kraftwerk
May 08 2026

Crazy this was made like 50 years ago -does not mean it’s a masterpiece. It laid great foundations tho, just for that reason a 2

Africa Brasil by Jorge Ben Jor
May 19 2026

A beautiful album that is full of soul! Loved this

Tarkus by Emerson, Lake & Palmer
May 28 2026

Not really into this, it just sounds like a mess. The cover is fat and ugly. someone said 'budget pink floyd' so true. Could not finish listening to this album -it was that bad.

Close To You by Carpenters
May 29 2026

I bit we biased, but it starts swell. Smoothest voice. Solid 4 stars.

2112 by Rush
Jun 02 2026

I cannot give this zero, so I give a one.

Jun 08 2026

Actually liked this more than expected. Sounds nostalgic, and the album is coherent, but not repetitive. Good four stars!

Jun 10 2026

He pensado últimamente que puedo detectar si un álbum será bueno en el primer minuto. Esto no va en torno a este álbum. Sonó auténtico -lo cual aprecio-, pero al mismo tiempo, como un grito visceral que no tiene mucho que expresar.

Devotional Songs by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
Jun 11 2026

Simply the story of Nusrat and his family is incredible, and the music shows the soul of a tradition that sounds perpetual and evergreen. Loved this!

Marcus Garvey by Burning Spear
Jun 12 2026

Solid three stars. I could tell from the first 10 seconds this would be a good album, but I have to add something to my analysis -if I feel it gets repetitive, it is never a good sign.

All Things Must Pass by George Harrison
Jun 17 2026

Just listened to disc one and it is a solid three.

Parallel Lines by Blondie
Jun 18 2026

There are pretty solid and thrilling songs in here, but at the end of the album I was waiting it for it to end -not a good sign. I have been guided by my intuition and emotions rather than a rational analysis of the melody, lyrics, whatever the hell is supposed to make an album 'good'. Perhaps this is an insult to my intelligence, but throughout these days in which I have listened to these different albums I have noticed a lack of enthusiasm and vivacity in songs. I am not only writing about Blondie, but I want music to excite and make me feel the widest, sharpest, and deepest parts of my own self, and unfortunately this album could only capture a fraction of an atom of a glimpse of that in a couple of songs. I am not a critic nor a musician, but I am someone who desires to encounter an album that can shake me to my core. Is that too much to ask?

The Modern Dance by Pere Ubu
Jun 19 2026

Not even slighlty motivated to finish listening to this. bummer. I was excited because of the first seconds of the opening song... 1 star

To Pimp A Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar
Jun 22 2026

strong strong strong four. There are so many great songs that the good sounds fade in the background.

All Directions by The Temptations
Jul 06 2026

That fucking song about the chase is dumb as fuck but overall pretty solid

Celebrity Skin by Hole
