Never gave this the time of day. Good stuff. Can't bear Natural Woman though... it's a soap ad jingle.

Only a couple of songs and some interesting instrumentation keep this from being a one-star. It was a hard listen. Cardigans have such strong songs; this is insubstantial, bordering on irritating (her thin, twee voice and terrible rhymes). Maybe it was of an era. If I'd bought this instead of Frenté (same-same) I'd probably have loved it. Tried.

Shoo, people are really triggered by this one. It's supremely listenable and there's nothing wrong with that. Not every album has to be hard work. Lekker!

Ja no well fine hey

Yeaaahhh! Arrgghhhaaaa. Repetitive testosterone and kak lyrics. Giving points for 3 pretty good songs. The rest so skippable. Yaaawn. Might need to calibrate if there are more Metallica LPs on this list so I don't end up in negative score. But it's a no for me, dawg.

Bland as bland can be. If it got more interesting after song 6, I wouldn't know. DNF.

Back in the early 90s when MCs liked rhyming plastic, spastic and drastic. This was great!

Crazy that this was 1985! Sonic Youth, Velvet Underground, Pixies, Dinosaur Jr... Curious what this would sound like without the distortion.

Have never given Neil Young enough attention, thinking he was all backwaters and native Americana. Some indie leanings. Thrasher's melody, lyrics and delivery could easily be a Coner Oberst number.

+1 star for nostalgia and nothing quite like this. Being such a core of the soundtrack to the early-mid 90s (Add It Up best of was released), it boggles the mind that they're early 80s acoustic punk. Gordon Gayno was a snack.

I try! I still cannot, but I try. Maybe when I was trying so hard to be cool at 14, drinking black coffee and watching Twin Peaks I'd have pretended to get this bop, but I'm much blander now. He should add vocals to all of it.

Shoo, I do love me some musical theatre and there were moments of joy. Early 2000s me would've loved this lounge (ala Honeymoon Suites) but it starts off "brand new discovery that I think I love" and wears you down to "are we there yet?"

Would've liked to have heard this at the time. Occasionally veers into cringe first round battle of the bands/amateur art school concert territory. Jusssst makes a 3 because it's interesting.

Old school irie

Yeah, that was a bit of alright

Was expecting to have this be a DNF. 3 hours of old fashioned showtunes. Played while I cleaned out the garage and 3 hours whipped by while I was transported to and immersed in another time: "From now on some manhandling must be done Keep on treatin me keep on beatin me Keep on treatin me rough" But at the same time feeling very Gen-Z: "Don't mind telling you in my humble fash That you thrill me through with a tender pash When you said you care, imagine my emoshe I swore then and there, permanent devoshe" Also: "Delilah did her kootch", you say? My granny would've loved this!

Surprisingly rich, layered and interesting... even the radio hits. The Chaffeur is great!

This is Paul Revere does Chuck Berry, Paul Revere does Beach Boys, Paul Revere does The Doors, Paul Revere does crooner... it's a 60s by numbers and feels inauthentic. It is competent enough and an enjoyable listen but that turd Melody for an Unknown Girl loses them a star. Yeck.

It's good, but I get Veddered out quite quickly.

Not familiar with Fugazi, this will be listened to again.

I wanted to like this more than I did. It lost me in places, stunned me in other places with how good it was. On second repeat, was growing on me. +1 for Superstition. Such a banger!

Squelchy robot noises make me happy, the rest of the album makes me sad. Don't think Do You Realise?? is all that. Did you know there's a lullaby rendition of this by the band, released April 2026 and 100-song version that runs over 7 hours? Mad.

This started a flat 2, all filler no killer. Round the midway mark (Everybody Needs a 303), there's lift-off and the signature Fatboy Slim creativity. It stays on a high, taking a bit of a nosedive before ending solidly. An extra point because this is very much a "Seinfeld isn't funny" type 30-years-later assessment. It's great!

Was ready to say "come at me" for my 5 star rating at the start of this. Fucking pigs ✅ strapped with a sawn-off shotgun ✅ blazing joints ✅ acting kinda loco ✅ ... but after four songs they were no longer fuckin' up my program.

DNF. Not high enough for this.
