Aja by Steely Dan
Jun 29 2026

I like this album better than the last Steely Dan. Not a huge fan of yacht rock.

Sea Change by Beck
Jun 30 2026

The only beck album I owned back in the day was odelay. This one is pretty chill. Not my style but I wouldn't turn it off.

OK Computer by Radiohead
Jul 01 2026

I think I could listen to this album over and over again. In fact I find myself revisiting it again today for a second listen. Karma police was everywhere when I was 15. That video. Electioneering is probably my favorite of the album. 5 stars no skips. I wish I had jumped on the bandwagon with my friends back in the 90's. Would love to see these guys live.

Feast of Wire by Calexico
Jul 02 2026

I used to enjoy Calexico when they were on mountain stage. Haven't listened to a full album though. I liked the horns in across the wire. I liked the album, not loved. I kind of lump it in with southern rock like Wilco and Drive by Truckers.

I didn't like the first half of this album, stopped listening after track 5, skipped through to make sure I didn't miss anything and went back to my day. Beautiful day annoys me. What the hell is New York?

Vauxhall And I by Morrissey
Jul 06 2026

Never been a Morrissey fan. I liked this album. He's a tool.

Live At Leeds by The Who
Jul 07 2026

My Generation...It's so good.

The Colour Of Spring by Talk Talk
Jul 12 2026

A few of the songs remind me of Jim James solo work. It's not really my cup of tea. Not horrible.

Music for the Masses by Depeche Mode
Jul 13 2026

I knew the first song. The album is ok, wouldn't change the radio if anyone of these songs came on. My recall of these guys is Personal Jesus, so... I'm probably good not listening to this album again.

The Dreaming by Kate Bush
Jul 15 2026

All skips except Suspended in Gaffa. I can't explain it.

Scott 4 by Scott Walker
Jul 17 2026

Boring.

Golden Hour by Kacey Musgraves
Jul 19 2026

I really liked this one. It's not something I'd seek out on my own and the songs did kind of blend together, but I'm drawn to her voice and the softness of her songs.

Green by R.E.M.
Jul 22 2026

I love REM and this entire album. Get Up and You are the Everything are my favorites. I put on the 25th anniversary deluxe edition for this one, which might be cheating but I needed a REM day.

Jul 23 2026

This album got me thinking, I wonder how many songs with Funky Drummer samples made this list? Note to self I need to check out more MC Ren and The D.O.C.. Dr. Dre and Ice Cube are the only alum I really listened to, I was only 7 when this came out so the album never really made it into my rotation. The Beastie samples on 8-ball are cool. And now I'm down a rabbit hole on rap/Beastie samples. I love how each artist is featured in their prime. I hate the misogynistic lyrics and there's a couple songs I would skip on future listens but over all I really enjoyed this album. Fuck tha police is, unfortunately, still relevant today.

White Blood Cells by The White Stripes
Jul 24 2026

When this came out I remember thinking "this is really cool". But..i never felt the need to listen beyond the radio singles and I don't think I missed much. It's weird to think they were the aughts. A lot of it blends together. Still a 4.. the singles were the hits for a reason.

Nilsson Schmilsson by Harry Nilsson
Jul 25 2026

When this popped up I was like who is this guy. I definitely recognized a few songs and of course the lime in the coconut earworm which I will be singing all weekend. TIL Nilsson wrote the Camp Candy theme song and sang it with John Candy. I skipped around a bit but I'd be happy to put this on anytime.

Deja Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Jul 29 2026
Odessa by Bee Gees
Jul 30 2026

I had no idea. I'll give it a second listen. I went in expecting to DNF so it was on in the background. I think it's a 4. The first song reminds me of a Decemberists song. On second listen, it's a little rock opera, a little The Band, a little honkey tonk and a lot of cheese. I still like it and if someone played it for me I would never have guessed that it was the Bee Gees.

Mask by Bauhaus
Jul 31 2026
Fred Neil by Fred Neil
Aug 03 2026

I liked his voice

Gorillaz by Gorillaz
Aug 04 2026

I like it. I don't love it as much as I did when it came out. I like Dell the Funky Homosapien. Three stars because there were a couple skips.

At San Quentin by Johnny Cash
Aug 06 2026

I liked it, I'll have to give the expanded version a go next.

Post Orgasmic Chill by Skunk Anansie
Aug 07 2026

When your album summary is 75% about a boring band album cover. Ooff. Never heard of this band. Liked it more than I thought I would. Likely will not listen to it again.

Groovin' by The Young Rascals
Aug 09 2026

I liked it. Would listen again

Rings Around The World by Super Furry Animals
Aug 14 2026

Sometime ok sometimes annoying sometimes background music. Probably won't listen again.

Songs In The Key Of Life by Stevie Wonder
Aug 15 2026

Pastime Paradise, never heard it before! This album was a lot for me. I probably won't listen to it again.
