2112 by Rush
Jul 04 2026

4/10 purely because of the musician ship and not out of appreciation of the songs. I thought the singer and drummer were very good, but the songs didn’t interest me enough to give a second listen. I liked the second song in the opening track named 2112 it was a bit slower and more my style but unfortunately it’s trapped between sections I’m not too interested in listening to again.

KIWANUKA by Michael Kiwanuka
Jul 05 2026

6.5/10 Quite liked this album, the first number was my favourite. Really liked how cohesive the overall album was, and enjoyed some of the more unique sounds achieved in the songs.

Hounds Of Love by Kate Bush
Jul 06 2026

6.5/10 really enjoy the first 3 songs but kind of fell off progressively after that unfortunately. Running up that hill is a great song if you look past its recent media usage.

My Generation by The Who
Jul 07 2026

6/10 quite generic British Invasion sort of album. Decent for a first album though, quite liked the kids are alright, and my generation is a catchy hit.

Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix
Jul 08 2026

6/10 I appreciate that he is one of the greatest guitarist of all time, but 3 minute solos just aren’t my thing. Kind of disappointed in myself that I don’t like it more. Thinking back on listening to it now all the guitar playing kind of morphs into one continuous song. I only listened to it once though so maybe on multiple listens they’re more unique.

Rings Around The World by Super Furry Animals
Jul 09 2026

7.5/10 Quite enjoyed this album, specifically it’s not the end of the world, really enjoyed the harmonies on receptacle for the respectable. Some songs gave me a sort of Beatles/ELO feel which goes a long way with me. The first album so far where I’ve gone back and listened to a song.

Pump by Aerosmith
Jul 10 2026

2/10 I just really don’t like this sort of music. Makes me sad I can’t enjoy it like how some people probably do

Grace by Jeff Buckley
Jul 11 2026

9/10 loved the album, his voice is very good. Quite like that it had some softer songs but then some more rockers. Quite like forget her.

Woodface by Crowded House
Jul 12 2026

5/10 It was fine, just a little uninteresting to listen to. Saw some reviews absolutely slating it but it’s just pretty mediocre if not below par, non of the songs really popped to me but it was okay to listen to in the background.

Triangle by The Beau Brummels
Jul 13 2026

4/10 Felt like if Bob Dylan’s merged with pet sounds. I enjoyed some of the sounds, decently liked old Kentucky home.

Brothers by The Black Keys
Jul 21 2026

6.5 Liked the bluesy songs

Vincebus Eruptum by Blue Cheer
Jul 22 2026

6.2/10 Liked the first 2 songs but they’re both covers, the others at the time were a first I imagine, it’s quite heavy stuff for the 60s so it gets some praise from me for that. Black sabbath would could around not too long later and show them up. 6.2 is fair because I say so

Jul 24 2026

3/10 It was fine background music. Just boring and not my type of genre.

1984 by Van Halen
Jul 25 2026

5/10 I liked Panama and Jump, the others were mostly self indulgent over the top solos that all end up melting into one giant monotonous cacophony of noise. Saved by 3 good songs.

Jul 26 2026

2/10 I was so confused when I put this album on and, it turned out to be a country record. They should’ve stuck to electric style music, they were good at it, For me the music on the album, mr tambourine, man sounds more interesting, feels like they stepped backwards 3 years later with this album. Didn’t mind the Christian life.

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Jul 27 2026

8.5/10 Super gooood album, very refreshing to have a nice album feels like age!!! I would listen to most of the songs again, and the album finishes so strong. Really liked The heathen and Exodus, and obviously one love and 3 little birds are lovely songs. A happy album that improves your mood 😌

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths
Jul 28 2026

6/10 Very sameyyy, but I enjoy the sound - the opening track had a nice rhythm but yeah. I don’t have much to say on this, I have a pre-disposition to the smiths so yeah

Heaven Or Las Vegas by Cocteau Twins
Jul 29 2026

7.5/10 I liked this album!!! I would listen to it again, really liked heaven or Las Vegas the song. I liked the general sounds, you can tell it’s the early 90s as there are still aspects of that synth sound. Thanks fran

The Score by Fugees
Jul 30 2026

7/10 Some of the songs on there were very good and I would listen to again, but the album itself varies in quality quite a lot in my opinion and so it brings it down, too much filler. But it made me appreciate hip hop a lot more, really liked No woman, no cry! Would happily listen too again, but would skip some songs.

Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath
Aug 01 2026

8/10 I see why people say that black sabbath created heavy metal, even though they weren’t the first they were the best initially, really liked N.I.B and the opening to the song black sabbath was very cool.

Moby Grape by Moby Grape
Aug 02 2026

7/10 Pleasantly surprised, thought it was gonna be more late 60s mediocrity but I actually quite liked it, 8:05 was nice and a few of the other songs, just a shame it’s not readily available on Apple Music.

The Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest
Aug 04 2026

7.3/10 The album cover is really cool and so are a few of the songs, excursions and buggin out were my favourite songs. I think the main issue I had with the album is that hip hop music usually just has the same sounding beat carrying the song along, so sometimes it’s not easy to tell if the song is a new one or just the old one continuing on .

Tommy by The Who
Aug 07 2026

3/10 What is the point of a double album if in my opinion you only have 1 really good song (pinball wizard) and maybe 2-3 other decent songs, I didn’t mind there’s a doctor. The who are starting to feel overrated

Hot Fuss by The Killers
Aug 08 2026

8/10 The opening of the album is really good, the end not so much “glamorous indie rock and roll for me” is terrible like it’s a song made for 40 year olds who do ketamine is Wetherspoon toilets. I like the first couple songs a lot, they remind me of driving in the car with my mum around the coast, so I’m definitely bias with this album.

Tigermilk by Belle & Sebastian
Aug 10 2026

7.5/10 Quite liked this album, really liked the first 2 songs and appreciated the entire album over all, quite happy it was suggested to listen to!

London Calling by The Clash
Aug 11 2026

7.4/10 I really like a few of the songs, and the number London calling is really good. it’s not really the albums fault but the amount of double albums we’ve had recently is making me crazy and making me genuinely fearful of each new album :). I liked lost in the supermarket and rudie can’t fail, can’t say I’d add them to my playlist atm though

This Is Fats Domino by Fats Domino
Aug 15 2026

7/10 Nice little record, very bluesy. Just happy it wasn’t a double album
