Album #1 The singles stand out, the other songs not so much. But it might be that I've heard most of the singles before.
Not a big Dylan fan, but I think it's going to grow on me when I give it more listens. 3,5 now on first listen, might change later.
As always with The Doors, the instrumentation and production is good here. The strength of this band is that it feels new and fresh for it's time, and you can also hear the influences for future bands and genres, like for example in The Stranglers' music and in Post-Punk.
Classic album with Neil Young, showcasing both his acoustic style and the harder 'proto'-grunge style. A strong 4.
