the well-known songs were good, the rest didn’t do it for me; a tad too repetitive, a lot of it sounds the same.

This album sounds like some old-school country rock, with songs about life in the rural areas of the Midwest. While I'm not necessarily a big fan of country or Bruce Springsteen's music generally, this one was certainly a vibe. The relative simplicity of the songs and instrumentation was not my cup of tea, but works for the lyrics. This would be a pretty good soundtrack to a late evening drive through the countryside. I can give this a 4/5.

RIP Dolly

Generally speaking, I’m a metalhead. I already knew Walk, and didn’t hate it. While listening I realised pretty quickly how violent these lyrics are. The further I got, the more I realised the songs were honestly, not that good. It left a sour taste. Overall, it’s a pretty bad album in my opinion. There are better albums and artists in the genre. Coupled with the singer’s history, I can’t really listen to this band any longer. I tried, but alas.
