Berlin by Lou Reed

Amazing how albums could be so simple yet effective. Although by disc 2 it seemed like every other songs kinda sounded the same. Fav song "it makes no difference now"

Dusty In Memphis by Dusty Springfield
Aug 22 2026

I feel like they should have asked for a different drummer. Feels like a lack of energy makes some moments that should hit, fall kinda flat.

Master Of Puppets by Metallica
Aug 24 2026

So many riffs. Only gripe is that they songs are all pretty long, and seem repetitive at times.

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Aug 25 2026

Incredible vocals, everything else is a little too poppy for me

Bongo Rock by Incredible Bongo Band
Aug 26 2026

Actually really enjoyed this one. So much rhythm

Coat Of Many Colors by Dolly Parton
Aug 27 2026

Kinda incredible to think she was that good as a teenager. Songs are sweet and simple.

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Aug 28 2026

Very much enjoyed this one. So dark and captures the fall of wonder in the face of more examples of hyperreality, and the rise of individual realities while hoping for something to bring balance to get lost in the wonder of the natural world.

Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix
Aug 29 2026

Superb playing. Mix is rough. Spacey, psychedelic rock

Femi Kuti by Femi Kuti
Aug 31 2026

Tells a story of what life is like through examples of struggle, hope, and identity. I don't think this album comes to conclusion other than you can always sing about your experiences.

Off The Wall by Michael Jackson
Sep 02 2026

It makes sense why this album is so highly rated. It's groovy, and expresses a wide range of emotions. I think the point of this is to get people to dance.

Rid Of Me by PJ Harvey
Sep 03 2026

It's an emotion. Hate and vengeance flag this album

Sep 04 2026

I think the music would make more sense with the movie

Station To Station by David Bowie
Sep 05 2026

Yeah, not sure where this album was going. Seemed to drag on at times and a bit lost in obscurity

Hot Fuss by The Killers
Sep 06 2026

Such a good album. Has incredible hits. I felt a little lost with some of the songs. Overall seems like a collection of personal experiences living the lively and sometimes overwhelming city life

The Scream by Siouxsie And The Banshees
Sep 07 2026

This feels sneakily influential. Sounds very proto punk/goth/core. Wish the production was a bit better

Metallica by Metallica
Sep 09 2026

Disappointing. Birth of butt rock? YAE-YUH!

California by American Music Club
Sep 10 2026

Broken link

Parachutes by Coldplay
Sep 13 2026

Ah Coldplay before they went mainstream. Definitely more of a vibe that a coherent message. It's decent.

Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
Sep 15 2026

Theres like two decent songs on this album

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Sep 17 2026

Subtweeting before twitter was a thing. And their own band members... That much conflict created something really great

Low by David Bowie
Sep 18 2026

I think I might understand why people like bowie so much after listening to this album. Very artful and well executed

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths
Sep 19 2026

I think I understand the smiths less now

Sep 20 2026

Oh yeah I was just thinking to myself I needed to support a born again wife murderer. What luck

Siamese Dream by The Smashing Pumpkins
Sep 21 2026

The hits are great but I get bored on the others. Needs more tension and release

Fleet Foxes by Fleet Foxes
Sep 22 2026

Are these guys okay? Some of the saddest sounding songs. Hauntingly beautiful vocals, folksy guitars, reminds me of a small Appalachian town
