The albums only redemption is as an experimental album of the time.

Amongst my favourite albums of all time. Bruce isn't for everyone, but I'll always love the way his storytelling depicts life. Thunder Road is my favourite ever song, and the journey from there to Jungleland is so enjoyable. Only beaten by Born in the USA as a complete album in his discography imo. The Boss.
