3 + 3 by The Isley Brothers
Sep 13 2026

As a first-time listener, 3+3 from The Isley Brothers is a great album. It immediately grabs your attention with a blend of smooth R&B vocals and surprisingly heavy, energetic guitar work. The standout track is easily "Summer Breeze." The incredible guitar lead and powerful vocals hook you right away, making it the clear highlight of the record. While the high points are great, sitting through the entire album in one play-through can feel like a bit of a stretch. A few tracks in the middle tend to blend together and drag, making it less likely to be a front-to-back listen every time. Overall, it’s a fun, enjoyable album with genuine highlights that make it well worth picking up.

The Renaissance by Q-Tip

I don't usually listen to hip-hop albums. But this was enjoyable. Stand out tracks: Move Will I listen to it again? Probably not.

Van Halen by Van Halen
Sep 14 2026

Hard rock isn't usually my thing, but I actually really dug this album. The guitar riffs are absolute gold and keep the whole thing super fun from start to finish. "You Really Got Me" and "Jamie's Crying" were easily my favorite tracks.

Blood On The Tracks by Bob Dylan
Sep 15 2026

Blood on the Tracks is a straight-up lyrical masterpiece. When it comes to storytelling and sheer songwriting, this album is easily sitting right at the very top. The way Dylan spins a narrative is unreal, especially on tracks like "Tangled Up In Blue" and "Lily, Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts," which are hands-down my favorite tracks on the record. If you appreciate incredible lyrics and world-class storytelling, this one is an absolute must-listen.

The Stone Roses by The Stone Roses
Sep 16 2026

The Stone Roses' debut album isn't something I’d usually put on, but going in with an open mind, I actually found a certain charm to it. Overall the vibe and energy still hold your attention. It’s definitely earned a second listen down the road. Fave Tracks: She Bangs the Drums, Waterfall

Amnesiac by Radiohead

Nope just nope. Won't be listening to this again.
