1001 Albums Summary

Beautiful album

So much talent and personality in one album. Icon

Interesting, creative and ground breaking. Not my cup of tea for every day, but fantastic nonetheless

Recognisable talent and inspiration for so many musicians after them. Not my go to, but brilliant nonetheless

Edgy and spooky, perfect for this time of year. Not a go-to for me though.

Fabulous, can’t go wrong with Dire Straits

Iconic and set the scene for a decade.

Interesting as I had never listened to Brian Eno. Nice start to a long day in London

A new discovery for me, interesting artist.

Doesn’t feel authentic

Interesting band, I can tell they paved the way for many bands that came after them

A bit drab, some atmospheric songs but nothing stand out

One or two standout tracks, the rest is a bit drab

Started fun, then it all sounded the same

ICONIC. Can’t say I agree with many of the themes but the energy and power of the album is undeniable

New discovery for me, love the 90s vibe

Relaxing and melodic

Incredible

Good, but not amazing

Quirky, I like it

Loved this, grateful for the discovery.

Too painful to listen to, managed first 2 songs only.

One of my favourite bands, but not my favourite album of theirs.

Clever, unique, iconic, beautiful, sad - just love it.
