1001 Albums Summary

I’m pretty indifferent to Bruce Springsteen’s music. Although, I’ve only really heard ‘The Hits’ but never dived much deeper. To me, this album felt grandeur but in a forced way. I think Springsteen has a great voice. ‘Hungry Heart’ rules (can hear the collective groan of Springsteen fans)! Didn’t love this album but maybe I was in the wrong mood to listen to it.

Big fan of The Kinks. This album is good! Sounds like if The Beatles were good.

This album reminds me of when my stepdad was having a drug induced menty b and required this album on full ball to fall asleep to. My mum HATED ‘One of My Turns’— to quote “I’d finally fall asleep and that f***ing song with the glass breaking would wake me up”. 3/5 for the album. But going to take a star away for mum’s lack of sleep.
