1001 Albums Summary

Reminded me a lot of an artist that I like, The The. I didn't know about Elbow before today so it's a great discovery even though I still have to get my head wrapped around all their musical universe

I thought it'd be more psychedelic, especially coming from a band named "The Psychedelic Furs". Even though I get why they had a decent success with this album, I also get why they didn't get super popular with it... It kinda looks like they were searching for a sound that could fits them but weren't able to quite find it.

I found the album to be a bit too country for me but I still can tell that they're talented musicians and their music is objectively good. The song I liked the most was Pretty Polly

What a great discovery! I already knew this album with the song Hey Ya! but the rest of the album was mostly new to me Clearly one of the fastest 2h15 I've ever had! Again, I can't say it enough, wonderful discovery

What a classic!

Incredible discovery, for the whole day I couldn't stop listening to it again and again

While there are some songs that I really liked, I couldn't help myself but to skip some others. In the end I completely understand why some people would love this record, great album

It's a good David Bowie album but clearly not the best. Even tho I find it a bit overrated I can see why some people would love it

I feel like it's a kind of reggae version of Bob Dylan but if he knew how to sign Great discovery

I knew them from the Nirvana unplugged record, mainly with Plateau and Lake of Fire but I've been surprised by how unprofessional they sound

I really shouldn't have judged the record by it's cover

I knew this album thanks to California Dreamin' but I never listened to the rest of the album up until now.
