Ergh I am just not a big jazz fan and that is the truth. Of course I recognize the importance and significance and everything but it’s completely personal that I just will always be meh.

Canadian dream pop/indie from Montreal. I'm happy to see all the representation Canadian artists are getting on the recommendation list. Even though this genre isn't really in my wheelhouse, it's nice to see. Favorite songs: Say Can You Hear, Tailwhip, Slap Pie, All Night Least favorite songs: Dorian 2/5

It was jazz. This was never gonna land well with me.

Indie pop, dream pop, electropop. Tostonazo. Un 2.

Listened to this twice and… I genuinely have nothing to say. It’s 70+ minutes of dreamy, lo-fi indie pop that’s all vibe and no spine. It’s pleasant enough, and I know that's the vibe they're going for, but the whole thing feels like sonic wallpaper. I get the aesthetic, but I need something to hold on to. Even the better tracks ("Tailwhip", "Show Me How") barely ripple the surface.

More cafe jazz than indie for me

Oncle Jazz is a bit dull and one speed for my liking. Soothing in places, mostly boring though, 2.

Just really boring music.

This wasn’t much of a jazz album so whatever oncle is that had a big impact on the sound. The singer was very chill and soft which made it easy to listen to but the songs blended together and before I knew it I was halfway through my second listen. The instrumentals weren’t anything spectacular just chill to match. Overall it wasn’t bad but for me I doubt I’d revisit it as it isn’t the kind of chill I like to chill to. 5.5/10

bit boring to be honest

Way too long. The album artwork made me think I was going absolutely hate this and that it was going to be garbage. It was not the worst thing I have ever listened to, but I do not think it was really enjoyable. I will round up.

This is a joke right? There's no way someone submitted this. Literal elevator music meant to be in the background. There's nothing here! And why is there 71 minutes of it?! It's literally the same song for over an hour.

This is probably a two actually but I’m honestly tired of ppl making me listen to garbage. I can’t imagine being able to pick any album in the world to share with my fellow humans and picking this bland nothingness. I kept forgetting there was even music playing. This may be the most boring album ever.

71 minutes of bedroom pop. kms
