Bad
Michael JacksonObviously Micheal Jackson is an icon but after listening to this album I can see why and the impact he’s had on society. Great album

Willie Nelson is great and I've never appreciated him enough
The classroom samples were really cool and furthered the message of love. After looking at the background of the album I had a greater appreciation for Laura and her life struggles. Never really got into soul but I think this was a good introduction
Really good album that seemed way before it's time
I've been busy so I had to go back to this one. Really loved it stevie wonder is great

I've never really loved the Beatles, especially their earlier work, and unfortunately this album reflects that. I can appreciate what the Beatles did for rock and the impact they had on society, but this album didn't push the needle that much for me.
I had only ever heard one song from Elbow before but I had no idea who they were. But I really liked this album. Creative use of instruments to create a different rock sound

I don't think I have the ability to appreciate jazz enough and listening to this I can begin to but I still struggle to find differences in this compared to other jazz. Hopefully I will get more jazz albums that I will be able to start learning more about jazz.
In regards to Dire Straits, I've heard sultans of swing and nothing else. But this album introduced me to their unique sound and I was intrigued by the mix of influences.
Not really my style and but another good intro to another genre of music
Without having a background info, I really didn't enjoy this or the band. But after reading about the importance of the band and some of their songs, I can see why it was included in the 1001. MC5 was one of the first punk bands ever, being around in the 60s. They were also extremely influential in counter culture and provided an outlet for some of the things that were happening in the US at the time, especially Detroit. I need to go listen to their later album to see how their sound changed over their short run
Not really many notes. They sound like the beatles, and i thought it was strange that the UK release had 4 more songs and took off Paint it black, which was the biggest hit they've ever had.
Eh not my style, EDM predecessor but I'm sure it's important somehow
Really cool sound and I had fun listening to a new band
Willie Nelson is great and I've never appreciated him enough
I really liked the sound of this band and was surprised that I have never heard of The Jam. They were similar to the Beatles but more modern.
I didn't think this was as good as Lauryn Hill's album but still fun to dive into old rap to see the roots of the genre
I know I'm supposed to love pink floyd but I just can't appreciate the cultural aspects of the band. Still a good album though
Great album and great band that I only knew from "Where is my mind". Also their bassist is from Dayton
Really good album that seemed way before it's time

A classic album and always a fun time
Surprisingly really good. And I noticed that after I found out it's not technically country I liked it better, which is something I need to work on.
Love them, love this
This was a lot better than the last pink floyd album
Really fun listening to other songs by aha other than take on me. They are really good and im surprised i've never heard the other songs on this album
It was good just different
It feels like these bands that were a huge cultural impact are harder to get into but overall good album
Great album, I liked this much better than the first album. Really liked the incorporation of other instruments
Was cool to hear something I wasnt expecting
Not my type of music
Weird album
Amazing album
I went down a deep rabbit hole on Lynyrd Skynrd because of this and I think that's what makes music so great, that it can teach as well as entertain
I watched this to get the full experience and it was perfect
An epic of an album but not really into gothic rock and some of the references to mythology went over my head
I was surprised by the other songs on this album. You can hear the similarities in his tone and song writing throughout. I feel like this album is underrated and should be more prevalent in society
I’ve heard of Chicago before but I did not know their sound. This album gave a great insight into who they are and their sound, which surprised me. I was not expecting such a presence of horns and rock but I think they work really well together. It reminded me a bit of show tunes but I enjoyed it. I’m surprised there are not more bands who incorporated horns as heavily as Chicago does
I didn't realize the impact that oasis had on music in the 90s other than the wonderwall joke. I had fun diving into the music and listening to their story and what the britpop scene was all about
I really liked meat is murder when I listened to it but I didn’t realize until this album that the smiths was a much more modern band. I like their sound and they feel much older of a sound than the other bands of the 80s
Couldn't get behind the Ska genre, couldn't finish unfortunately
