I like this album. I was surprised that I didn't know more of these songs, but I would have guessed that all of them were the Beatles not having heard them before. I think my favorite was Michelle.
Okay, WOW. I knew almost every one of these songs, but I had no clue that they were all from the same album. Very influential, and there are so many of these songs that are still in movies, shows, etc in daily life. I liked a lot of these songs and this will be a new favorite.
I might be upsetting the music gods, but I didn’t like this album. If the goal was for every song to sound the same, A+, 5 Stars. The reason it gets 2 stars is solely because of Blitzkrieg Bop.
I'm not sure why I didn't know that the Yeah Yeah Yeahs lead singer was a woman? I'm sure I've heard songs by them before, but I'm not sure what. Maybe one of them will come up on this album soon. Initial reaction is that this is good music for motivation days--when you're cleaning your house or working out. I don't love the high-pitched squeal thing she does, but I'm sure that's some of the appeal and like "classic Yeah Yeah Yeahs". This reminds me of something that Kat would listen to in 10 Things I Hate About You. Okay, here's where I come back around -- Maps is an excellent song. I wish more of their music were like this.
Yesterday I was at a Speakeasy and today I'm in a jazz club. I love it, love these vibes. It's 10am but I guess I need to make a cocktail. I was very overwhelmed by this album. I'm not typically listening to jazz on a day-to-day and there were some parts that struck me like \"the band is warming up\". That was a little off-putting to me as a non-listener.
I knew a lot of these songs and really enjoyed listening to this album!
I mostly enjoyed this album, minus the talking part at the beginning of the second track. It's not really my vibe so I don't think I'll ever listen again, but I enjoyed listening to it!
I'm excited for this one! I like what I know from Smashing Pumpkins and looking forward to hearing more. Cherub Rock is a great way to start an album. Loved this from start to finish.
I enjoyed listening to this while I worked--very cathartic and great background/chill music. Was a good album.
I liked this ones! The first two songs I wasn't enjoying as much, but the more it got into the album the more fun I had listening to it.
This is another artist I've never heard before, but I like this album. I really like the first half of this album, especially Hazey Jane II and At the Chime of a City Clock.
Didn't love it as much as their other album Rumours but still fun to listen to.
My least favorite song was Run Charlie Run.
