Ok holy fuck, I've slept on Zeppelin wayyy too long! I've listened to their first, thought it was meh and dismissed the rest. But wow, this album has blown me away. It is very consistent, fine as fuck rock! I think I might give it 5/5 simply because it proves me wrong about my opinion on Led Zeppelin! Ofc I wouldn't do that if the songs wouldn't back it up! Glad my journey through this book starts with this album!
I give it a 3, because it's a good album but it didn't do much for me, It has some absolutely beautiful tracks. I like the bass heavy mix, the "booming".
This is a good Hip Hop album, was straight vibin' through it might revisit it one day. 4/5 is good.
Woah this album blew me off! It's so moody and cool! Typical nonsense childish lyrics of the summer of love (in a good way, I like 'em). I'd describe it as a Piper At The Gates Of Dawn lite in terms of weirdness. It's more commercial but atill enough weirdness. 5/5 it's soo fucking good! Fav. Song is Afternoon Tea.
It sounds radical, has some good tunes on it, but one of the rappers sounds like a really obnoxious version of Zack de la Rocha. It's a 3/5 since it has some sick tunes, is well made, but just isn't my cup of tea.
I give it a 4, it's a good album. Before I listened to this I listened to Beggars Banquet and I think they're neat. My favorite is Mother's Little Helper, since it completely caught me off guard with it's dark lyrics.
It's interesting, the singer shines sometimes with his excellent vocal delivery, other times it's bad. He has his style and ya gotta respect him for that. It's hit or miss. Some songs are sick af, others suck. My fav track is the last one. Because fucking hell it has a STRONG vocal delivery. I think a 3/5 is fair. Since it has it's style and it is interesting enough that I'll come back someday.
Pretty unspectacular, you have to be in the mood for it, I wasn't. It's well made though and idk, 3/5.
Kinda uninteresting, it's aight but didn't catch me. Standard 80's, not my jam but it's ok. 3/5
It managed to put a smile on my face on a bad day. It's beautiful. I am glad I got to listen to it for the first time :) 5/5
Chill blues, kinda cliché. Begins to drag hard by the end. Didn't capture me. 2/5, I'd rather give it a 2.5 but...
Ok Jesus Christ I came from an album that already bored me so hard (I listened to 2 this day) and I wantrd to go out but I force myself to listen to this. It's so chaotic to the degree I don't like it. There goes my gun is cool doe, and the last track. 1/5
Going into this I thought "ah hell naw." But into Rolling in the Deep, I thought "this can actually be good". I still remember how we had to sing Rolling in the Deep at school and how me and the boys used to absolutely butcher this. Like howling dogs we "sang" this song because we got fucking tired of it. Those were the good times :') I mean it's very ballad heavy. The production is very good. It's beautiful, not my jam, but I hear quality when I hear quality. I might return and reevaluate when this Website gets an edit function. 4/5
I can't stand the singers voice, the instrumentation is great though. But it's kinda overblown and cliché and I don't like it. 2/5
Ok this sounds like that kind of music which you are forced to hear when the CIA is interrogating you while you're on LSD. I do have to say, it's weirdly charming. I was at Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets tour and while I was sitting, I saw some old people dancing through the entire concert. Like they're high as a kite. This is what they listen to when they're not listening to Pink Floyd. I retract this statement. It's still shit, I'm getting real tired of it by Halleluwah. It's hot garbage actually, that this shit is on the list of 1001 albums and Weezer's blue album isn't, is a fucking disgrace. On one hand, you have one of the greatest albums of the 90's, probably even the greatest power pop album ever made, and on the other one what I imagine sounds like what it is like to have a stroke while on LSD and ketamine while being on the train station. It's so bad, it's funny, BUT IT'S 1 HOUR LONG JESUS CHRIST AAUUUUUUMMMGGGNNNNN AAAAAAUUUUUUUMMMMMMGGNNN AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaAAaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM was the lyric that hit the hardest doe. So deep... It could actually be good if they'd drop the avant garde. I'M FINALLY DONE WITH IT!!! FUCK THIS ALBUM 1/5
Ok do I went in thinking I'll get a woman singing, buth then it was a man. So 1 star atleast for bamboozeling me. And it's very chill, suave and sexy. It's aight, 3/5
You know what? I was gonna give it a 4/5, but while I was writing and still listening to it, Moby Dick came on, and I thought fuck it, 5/5. It's a banger of an album. It's really the grandfather of hardrock, and these guys bridged the way for the coming generations.
Going into this I thought this would be some shitty juvenile stereotypical synth pop, I've already heard all the praise for ABBA, but this is actually quite mature. Though this spotify link sends you to a quieter version of the song, so idk which version to listen, I went with the quieter version. I HATE IT SO MUCH IF THERE ARE MULTIPLE VERSIONS. Ok actually this is really good, idk if I should give it a 5/5 or a 4/5, maybe I'll be generous. Fuck it I'm generous. 5/5, it's a very mature and sad album. It shows the band breaking up and is a fitting end. Sike, most fans said in 2021. Yeah, 5/5.
Jesus this is so bland, generic and BOOOOORING. I could listen to some better music, but no. Her voice is generic female voice no. 5, the music is to sleep. 1/5 Like atleast the last no. 1 I gave, Tago Mago, I can see why this one should be on the list, I don't like it but it's interesting. This is just like the most generic whatever music. Edit: aight, it saved itself on the last 4-5 tracks, it's still a boring album, but these last were from aight to beautiful. 2/5
I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I didn't listen actively to it, it doesn't really as the soundtrack for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2, but it managed to captivate me enough that I'll definitely check it out again! 4/5
It's aight, not that special though, it didn't live up to my expectations to what Dylan could be. 3/5
It's good. Gave me Fallout ptsd flashbacks. It sounds old, but that's thr charming thing about it. Like a cliché movie with a good and happy ending. 4/5
It's basically a parody of 80's music. Every cliché in one album. I'm glad I'll never have to listen to it again. 1/5
So the US version is very good, but it omitts Can You See Me, which I love, the brit version omitts Purple Haze and Hey Joe, so I'm gonna judge every song. I mean, It's Hendrix. Hendrix is literally the most important guitarist of all time. Though I don't know if I can give this album a 5/5, because I know where Hendrix will go from it. It's a 4/5 got sure, but man, he WILL do better from this. And my favorite Hendrix songs are almost exclusively from the next two albums. It's a damn fine album. But I have to give it a 4/5 I'm afraid. This for me lacks the magic of Axis and Electric Ladyland. Those have Little Wing, If 6 was 9, Voodoo Child and All Along The Watchtower, and those hit HARD. This one has Purple Haze and Foxy Lady, but else, idk. Really feels bad to do this, but yeah: 4/5
It's aight. The others are better. Shame that I own it on Vinyl, this delayed me discovering Zeppelin cuz it was lame to me because I knew the astronomical praise Zeppelin gets and it set my expectations too high. 4/5
It's a chill Reggae album, has some fine ass tunes. 4/5
It's an aight album, nothing special, has some good tunes. 4/5
Jeez this album sucks, I was gonna give it 2/5 but the last track reminded me of why this album sucks. It makes me gag.
This is one of the saddest albums I've ever listened to. It's a man, who knows he's on his way out. All the covers are phenomenal. I love We'll Meet Again, Hurt, In My Life. Jesus it is really beautiful. We'll Meet Again, such a banging way to go out. I had to deal with me being very likely to die too, so I respect how humble Cash is feeling about it (I feel way better now thanks to treatement, it was never terminal, never even close to it, but I learned how fragile life is). 5/5. Without a doubt
I like it, shame it ain't on spotify. Will check out somewhen. 4/5
It's ok, it has some good songs, it isn't my kind of music. 3/5
It's aight, some tunes are a bop but it begins to frag by the end. It's your standard music for that time. 3/5
I listened to it on shuffle :,( But anyways this slaps hard! I like that it welcomes me back to this project! 5/5
This album has basically defined my music taste. Before that I didn't listen much to music. I then fell in love with Michael Jackson and bought his CD's. For some reason I didn't listen to one of his albums in full. Somewhen, I started listening to GNR and then bought their greatest hits CD and then this album, which made me fall in love with this album. It made me fall in love with Rock music in general. This was the first album I listened to from start to finish. The Riffs are nasty, the solos blazing, the production superb. Axl Rose is one of the greatest singers to ever exist. I put him on par with Freddie Mercury and Layne Staley. Slash made me play the guitar, the moment where he steps out the church in the November Rain music video is the most badass moment in music video history. So if it ain't already clear Obviously 5/5, every track is a banger.
Eh idk, its bland generic rock n roll. 2.5 really, but i can only give it 2 or 3. I think I might be a bit kind since it seems like they had a nice time at that concert. I am probably way to kind. 3/5
I like it, I don't know how much to give it though. I think a 5/5 for the sake of being nice. But I I only recently got into jazz a little bit so ya know what? 5/5
Abrasive, the kind of music you need when you're pissed off. The production fits perfectly. I listened to the EP + the singles. If I Think is fucking genius. 5/5
Meh, wrong album at the wrong time. It is ok though. 2/5
Jeebs, it is another one from the summer of love. What the fuck is C.T.A - 102? Renaissance Fair is a fucking banger though. It has some bangers, but I really ain't feelin it that much. 3/5
Wow, Phil really KILLED it with this one! It absolutely MURDERS all of it's competition! All Jokes aside, I listened to it on shuffle and I haven't finished it (I think). I think it's solid for what it's supposed to be, though it leaves a bad aftertaste in the mouth. 3/5
Ah, dookie. The soundtrack to my life right now. I mean no contest, this is a hell of an album. So good. I knew it before but came to love it very much when my uncle showed me how much he loves it too. It loud, energetic and optimistic. It shows how fucked up things are sometimes, but it is also completely cool about it. The songs reach from good to absolute bangers. And its jam-packed with absolute bangers. I'm also glad it's that short. Would it be longer it would be way too repetitive. But you can pop it in for half an hour and feel great afterwards. I love it. 5/5
Aside from the hits which are a real bop, nothing special. 3/5
