The KillersFamiliar album. Some absolute floorfillers her with good associated memories.

Stand out track, once in a lifetime. mixed view in the rest.
Not heard it before, but glad I have. It was ok. But to quote Plan B…..it’s hard to separate the man from the music.
Album of two halves. Before born to run it’s ok (3). After it kicks up a notch (4) If I could give it 3.5 I would but I can’t
Brilliant. Forgot how much I loved her voice. And of course the brilliant Prince cover tops it off.
Not for me
Time of the season is a highlight Enjoyed this album more than I thought I would.
I remember buying this CD when it came out. It was a punt for me at the time. The joy of the 1001 albums is that we get away from the modern fashion of listening to individual songs on playlists. Going back to listening to an album as the artist intended. Enjoying the juxtaposition of one track to the next, the journey they take you on. I loved this album when it first came out. It’s well crafted, starts strong and ends well. Listening to this album transported me back to a memorable time in my life and that in itself was a joy. I understand the ire that Chris Martin conjures up. I’m ignoring all that. It’s easy to forget that he became popular because the music was good. Fabulous debut. Solid 5 stars here
Not my cup of tea, not my favourite and, for me, hadn’t stood the test of time.
Bought this album at the time of release and it’s stood the rest of time. I loved their previous album, which was immense. This is different but equally good/better! True masterpiece. Loved listening to it from beginning to end, brought back lots of memories, like a warm blanket.
Not what I was expecting but an important album which caught the mood
