1001 Albums Summary

I could listen to this anywhere. My favorites were Your Latest Trick and The Man’s Too Strong.

Not a fan of this one. I think the music-making is legitimately good, but it’s just not my genre. I enjoy the upbeat energy and guitar riffs but can’t get over lead singer’s voice. Not something I’d listen to on a regular basis.

Very bluesy. I imagine it’s Mary Alice’s cup of tea! Definitely something I’d listen to on vinyl while cooking or cleaning at home.

Love the whole album. Right up my alley.

It was “cool” to say that The Beatles were overrated when I was younger, but the Rubber Soul>Revolver>Sgt. Pepper’s>Magical Mystery Tour>White Album run is insane.

What a throwback. They don’t make rap albums like this anymore.

Kanye is a horrible person, but this album is a masterpiece.

TIL Resentment by Beyoncé samples Curtis Mayfield. Also I immediately picked up on the interpolation of Think that is in Nobody’s Perfect by J. Cole. For those two songs, I am grateful for this album. Also it’s great as background music.

Thoroughly enjoyed. Early 70s was a golden era of music without a doubt.

Adele’s best album. Every song is a catchy bop.

I liked one song a lot, but the others were just kind of generic early Beatles knock-off music. Sorry not sorry.

Bruce is good listening, although I don't think he's a god. I enjoyed the album overall, especially Jungleland.

I can definitely hear how many of the modern bands I love today have been influenced by Iggy Pop.
