Loved it back in the day, still holds up in 2022. Not a perfect album though, as it’s a bit front loaded. Legacy defining hits right out of the gate, but does lose a little bit of energy and cohesion as you get to the back half. But those first four songs though…

Ah, this was fun! Flashback to high school, and it still is great.

This one was a new listen; definitely put a smile on my face and will be adding it as a regular session listen. I could see this as a great party starter for a summer BBQ kinda thing.

A couple of great standout songs, but a bit subdued, with some dour filler.

I liked it a lot more than I expected, not being familiar with the death metal genre. Much more melodic than I expected, with nicely surprising rhythmic and compositional changes throughout that kept me engaged. I liked it! And can see listening to it again, for the strong songwriting and sounds.

I enjoyed it for what it was, but didn’t love it. It’s unique, lots of “genre-blending” going on that works cohesively, but only six of the fifteen tracks did it for me.
