Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park
Jan 25 2023

This just sounds like shit that I listened to when I was a grumpy teenager. Not the good stuff, but the shit that sounds cheesy and dated now. I got out of that breif phase in the late 90s and I see that this came out near the end of 2000 so it makes sense that I never got into it, and hadn't heard anything from it aside from the song that was all over the radio. I don't care for his voice or the heavy guitar + hip hop Limp Bizkit overtones. Some bands pull that off really well, like Rage for example.... but not this. If I had to say something nice about it, I guess I'd say that they do find a catchy groove in some songs, just not one that I can get into. I don't love it. I don't even like it. I don't want to hear this again.

Not a genre that I listen to much, but there were some decent songs on this. Appreciated the message of the album.

White Ladder by David Gray
Jan 27 2023

This album did not offend my ears but it didn't interest them either. If I had to sum it up in a word, I would say unremarkable.

Fun and interesting - will probably listen to a couple songs again

Love it! So many good songs, will definitely keep revisiting this one.

The Doors by The Doors

A classic, of course

Physical Graffiti by Led Zeppelin

Some great songs on here. Would have given a 4, but it went on a little long for me.

The Message by Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five

I'm going to have to process this.
