Gang Of FourProbably forgot that I listened to it in about a week.
Probably forgot that I listened to it in about a week.
Pretty decent old school hip hop. I did not regret listening to it. But, also nothing super remarkable.
Great listen! Went through it twice. Lots of classic hits in this one.
Very talented musicians, well known songs, but very boring. I struggled to make it all the way though.
Great 80’s album. A couple of hits hidden in there. Outside of that, many of the songs start sounding the same.
Not very lengthy album which makes it perfect for about 45 minutes of soul/funk music. Meaty tracks that make you remember Isaac more for his music than his beliefs. “By The Time I Get To Phoenix” is a story that hurts the heart.
Good, easy folk album to put on during a sunny day. A pleasant listen. I’m rating it a 3 only because if it was in my collection, it wouldn’t get much rotation.
Classic Bob Dylan. Just a man, his guitar, harmonica and poetry. This album made me feel like I was in a smokey coffee shop in Greenwich Village in the 60’s. Great listen!
Just not my flavor. To me, sounds like a cheaper version of her brother’s music.
I loved this album when it first came out and I’m glad to have it reintroduced to me years after the last time I gave it an entire listen. Jack White’s crunchy guitar licks are the stuff of legends!
Good listen
Not an album I would’ve listened to on my own, and one I’ll probably never listen to again. Sounded like it could’ve been in the background of a John Hughes movie set in a high school in Anytown, Illinois.
I’m gonna stop the debate right now. This dude can see!
For me, listening to this album is like catch up with an old friend over some beers. Such great tunes from top to bottom. Roger, Pete, John and Keith are expert musicians that compliment each other. Try to isolate every individual musician for a song or two. I could listen to this one every day. I’d give it 6 stars if I could. Definitely one of my “stuck on a desert island” albums.
One of the most boring albums I’ve ever listened to. If I had paid money for this, I would be very upset. Total snooze-fest all around.
Repetitive lyrics killed this album for me. Made it feel “mailed in”. Could have some potential. It had decent production quality. Just subpar song lyrics.
Paul just isn’t the same without Art. “Me and Julio” is a great song, all the other songs have their own identity, which is refreshing. I liked it. But didn’t love it.
I’ll be brutally honest. I hated every second. So much wasted potential with the talent of the artists. I don’t know if they just didn’t care, or too many drugs. Incoherent.
Classic Rolling Stones album. Solid tracks all the way though.
Nah. Not for me. I’ll forget about it a week from now.
Listen to Green Day mature since Dookie to this album is like seeing your drug dealer buddy who’s all grown up with a house, family and job. I’ve always liked this album. Great to be reintroduced to it again. Still love it.
Probably forgot that I listened to it in about a week.
Culturally, one of the most important albums of a generation.
Great listen. The Stones versatility really shine here.
The cover of “Sweet Thing” was absolutely worth the listen. The rest is ok.
Great collection of songs that are absolute classics. Not much more you could ask for in a single release. These songs defined a decade.
Seems like they had a great time recording this album. I had never listened to it all the way through before. Sorry that I hadn’t.
It’s exactly what I thought a Steely Dan album would sound like. Jazz music meant to bang to.
Great slow blues. Not my favorite John Lee Hooker songs. Something about it just didn’t take it to that next level for me.
Everything you could want from The Rolling Stones. Classic sound. Classic songs.
Just bored me after the first track. I respect the talent, but doesn’t make me want to listen to it more than once.
I’m glad I had a chance to experience it. But…I wouldn’t do it again or tell anyone about it.
Not my genre at all. Starts off with a line that aged like milk…”you don’t see Bill Gates and Donald Trump arguing, cause they both got paper!” Definitely an album that doesn’t age well. Decent sounds though.
Nobody plays the blues like “The King”. I had a good time listening to this while at the gym. Solid sounds for an old live album. The man is a legend for a reason.
I can now say that I gave ‘The Smiths’ a fair try. Not my flavor.
I did not like it. Lyrics were gibberish.
I’m glad I’ve been introduced to this album and gotten more exposure to Sam Cooke. Great listen!!
I wants to hate everything about this…but I found out it wasn’t completely trash. My most surprising 2 star rating so far!
Not my type of music.
I dig the vibe.
I enjoyed this a lot. Great listen and a great artist.
Solid 80’s rock, if that’s your jam.
YAWN!
Classic songs from top to bottom. Great musical talent and great lyrics. Never disappoints.
A little too sad for me today.
Really a struggle for me to get through this one. Not my taste.
It was cool.
I really have to be in a specific setting and mood to listen to an entire Bob Marley album. I think this is a great listen on a sunny day with an umbrella in your drink.
There is an appropriately sexy time and place for listening to this album. Unfortunately, that time and place is not riding a city bus from downtown Seattle on the 4th of July. I wasn’t feelin’ it.
The Kinks always feel like to me like they make kid’s songs for adults. A fun journey.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. The Kinks make kids songs targeted to adults. Fun and silly. But that’s as deep as it gets.
