Berlin by Lou Reed
May 18 2023
Armed Forces by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
May 21 2023

always known accidents will happen but never delved much into the rest of costello's discog. overall the album is really good! its quite glamourous and has lovely singing

In A Silent Way by Miles Davis
May 22 2023

certainly interesting to listen to but it doesn't really do much for me

Tommy by The Who
May 28 2023
Urban Hymns by The Verve
May 29 2023

Iconic Britpop album Favourite Tracks: Bitter Sweet Symphony, Sonnet, The Drugs Don't Work

Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd
Jun 05 2023

instant 5 stars one of my favourite albums of all time

Aja by Steely Dan
Jun 10 2023
White Light / White Heat by The Velvet Underground
Jun 15 2023

generally like lou reed and VU but this just feels really hard to get into with the poor production. Kinda sounds like the worse songs from VU and nico are expanded to make an album

Cross by Justice
Jun 27 2023

Really fun electronic music! love the bass on it

Murmur by R.E.M.
Jul 04 2023

never found REM particularly interesting

Crime Of The Century by Supertramp
Jul 11 2023

very solid supertramp, though I personally prefer breakfast in america and even in the quietest moments more

A Hard Day's Night by Beatles
Jul 13 2023

my favourite band of all time, I believe that hard days night is certainly one of their strongest earlier rock and roll albums. The first side is incredible - hit after hit, but the second side does feel a little less strong.

Revolver by Beatles
Aug 07 2023

love revolver, one of my all time favourite albums. each song is a hit

You Want It Darker by Leonard Cohen
Aug 15 2023

Only listened to early Cohen before but this feels really strong, kinda feels similar to David Bowie's Blackstar. I don't usually give albums I've only just listened to 5/5 stars but this one really compels me, its crazy that he released something this good at such an age. Favourite tracks: You Want It Darker, Treaty, Steer Your Way

Deloused in the Comatorium by The Mars Volta
Aug 16 2023

Going into this a big fan of late 60s/early 70s prog, so looking forwards to checking this out. Not a huge fan of the vocal style, but the instrumentals are really impressive and the songs are interesting. Favourite Tracks: Inertiatic Esp, This Apparatus Must Be Unearthed

Pretzel Logic by Steely Dan
Aug 22 2023

Really love steely dan, and this is one of my personal favourites of theirs (up there with Aja, Gaucho, Can't Buy a Thrill and Kid Charlemane). The opener is one of the Dan's strongest overall tracks and the album stays consistent after it. Even shorter tracks like "Through With the Buzz" still have things to offer. Furthermore, as with all of their tracks the lyrics are interesting and often take some additional thought to decipher. Favourite Tracks: Rikki Dont Lose That Number, Any Major Dude Will Tell You Barrytown, East St. Louis Toodle-oo, Through With the Buzz, Pretzel Logic, Charlie Freak

Thriller by Michael Jackson
