Incredible! It's wild that he was omitted from the main list.

Quicksand has a unique sound here, blending the sounds of a few artists found on the main list.....but not in a way that I loved.

LOUD AND MAD

I think the Arctic Monkeys are a great bookend to the indie sleaze era. This album shows that some sounds really don't last 20 years.

A great album to listen to while thinking you're better than everyone else (even though everyone in the room is thinking the same thing)

I can't believe this wasn't on the main list. Weezer defined nerd rock!!

I'm not sure about this one. It's at best generic, but even then there are other generic rock albums that do more than this one. It's almost a rock album for someone who doesn't really like rock music.

Deeply slutty

I loved this. The lyrics are pretty clever and it's a fun soundtrack to start the day with.

This is pretty middle of the road. It's got some good songs, but I'm not sure if it qualifies as mandatory listening. Songs like Stuck On You are really great, but they are the bright spots in an otherwise average album.

It's solid, but not nearly as slutty as Bloody Kisses.

Pop excellence. It's so fun and makes you want to dance and sing along.

As an album, it doesn't do much. As a concept of what life would be like if 9/11 didn't happen, an interesting thought experiment.

Chaotic to listen to at work, but it's an interesting mashup album.

I'm not very familiar with music coming out of Japan, and I'm not sure this was the best introduction. I wasn't a huge fan of the production.

This isn't my type of computer sounds, but I can appreciate that it is good beeps and boops

It's loud and mad but ultimately doesn't motivate me to want to drink a beer or rise up against authority.

It's very 'now' and there's nothing wrong with it, but it's also not doing anything so unique that this needs to be here over and of the other hundreds of bands doing the exact same thing.

It's alright! It's a bit long and weird at times, but it's not too shabby.

Pop country has become so formulaic over the last 20 years. Tyler is taking country back to it's roots - protest, authenticity, and real themes from real people.

It's good! It had some peaks and valleys. I found it a little wanting overall.

An interesting concept! Took full advantage of the listening format of the time. It's very interesting, but, as the way we listen to music has changed it has become challenging to access. I respect the effort, design, and approach. That said, the music itself wasn't overly interesting to me. It is pretty standard fare, with only the format making it stand out from the crowd. A notable moment and experiment in music history, but not necessarily a must listen.

This wasn't what I was expecting! It's pretty indie, but, I'm not sure warrants a place on the list. Nothing really wrong with it, but also not much right with it.

This may be an influential album, but it just isn't to my personal taste. I found it a touch long, and too many songs blended together.

This is incredible indie rock. It's in the sweet spot of being slightly less sad than Bon Iver, but still in the same radius.

It's alright! Reggae isn't my thing, and this album didn't sound better or worse than any of the other albums already on the list.

This was great! It sat outside of my narrow genre definitions which was refreshing. It's not redefining anything, but there is joy in listening to an album that stands just outside of what is expected.

Short and bubblegum sweet! It is very cutesy pop, but it does it well. Super sweet but not enough for a cavity.

This soundtrack is instrumental to the motifs of Blade Runner. That said, it didn't jump out at me as something that I wanted to revisit. It encapsulates the film, but I also don't love the film so it stands to reason that I wouldn't love this.

An outstanding album about doing drugs and having sex in the desert.

The second this album ended I forgot all about it. There were some grating moments, but also some lovely melodic moments. I found that more often than not I was waiting for a track to finish

My first of many TOOL albums on this list! Ya'll are going to hate this, but it's just okay.

Surprisingly good! Especially given that the opening song is over 20 minutes long.

It's honestly just okay. There's nothing pushing this higher or lower for me, a real middle-of-the-road record.
