Highway 61 Revisited by Bob Dylan
Aug 22 2023

Like a Rolling Stone - Pretty strong Bob Dylan vibes right at the get go. - Lots of Own/Home/Known/Stone rhyming here. - Pretty meh for my tastes 2/5 Tombstone Blues - I like the beat to this one more, much more upbeat and my speed. - Lyrics are still weird with simple rhymes. Better than Track 1. - Again meh for my taste 3/5 It Takes a lot to Laugh, It Takes a Train to Cry - Much more Blues vibes. - Just didn't feel like listening to the whole thing. - 2/5 From a Buick 6 - My lord the harmonica - 0/5 Ballad of a Thin Man - Painfully slow. Not entirely sure how this man made music. - At least a decent beat to it. - 2/5 Queen Jane Approximately - Ahh more Harmonica!? - What are these lyrics? Invatations? Bandits that you turn your cheek to? - 1/5 Highway 61 Revisited - What in the unholy hell is that slide whistle? - Again what are these lyrics? - At least more upbeat. 2/5 Just Like Tom Thumbs Blues - Started off with good beat and vibes. Hoping for a good one. - Killed it with more Harmonica - 1/5 Desolation Row - At least some nice guitar in the background. - What is it with your weird lyrics Bob? - 11 minutes and harmonica... Why Bob, why? - 1/5

Aug 24 2023

Pleasantly surprised. I kind of zoned out and just enjoyed it. Not my favorite music but still enjoyable.

The Bends by Radiohead
Aug 29 2023

Good jams. Not particularly my style but still good music.

The Blueprint by JAY Z
Aug 30 2023

Overall I really enjoyed this album. The collaboration songs were my favorite. Didn't always understand what Jay Z was saying but the beats were good.

A Short Album About Love by The Divine Comedy
Aug 31 2023

Music wasn't bad, weird lyrics. I just kind of zoned out on those and it was pleasant.

The Cars by The Cars
Sep 04 2023

Classic. Basically perfect until the last few songs.

L.A. Woman by The Doors
Sep 05 2023

Only was really familiar with a few songs but I enjoyed them

KIWANUKA by Michael Kiwanuka
Sep 15 2023

Never heard of Michael Kiwanuka Most of this album I had to wait a min before deciding if I liked the songs cause he seemed like he was going a completely different direction. His lyrics and the beat of the song seemed to contrast each other. Overall I liked it. - 4/5 1. You Ain't The Problem - Interesting intro and lively. Kinda has like a 70s Charlies Angel vibe. Don't understand half of what he's saying but I like the sound. - 4/5 2. Rolling - Again solid intro. Good beat and guitar or whatever that instrument is. Kind of sounds like a sitar at times. Typically wouldn't like these kind of vocals but it works. I really liked the slowdown into the following song - 4/5 3. I've been Dazed - So far this is my favorite. I like the feeling it gives, I don't know how to describe it but the song felt so nice. - 5/5 4. Piano Joint (This Kind of Love) Intro - Ooh the slow beat feels ominous but then the vocals come in so chill. Then the piano comes back and is boom ominous. I love the balance here. - 4/5 5. Piano Joint (This Kind of Love) - I love how the strong beat flows into this track but is more subtle with the piano take the forefront and his vocals give it a whole different feel. - 4/5 6. Another Human Being - This one was a little weird, more of a commentary so I get it. - 3/5 7. Living in Denial - Wasn't as crazy for the sound of this one. Still solid - 3/5 8. Hero (Intro) - This one feels deep and simple. I dig it. - 4/5 9. Hero - I like how this song picks up after the slower (Intro) track but keeps the theme but expands the story more with the lyrics. Almost feels triumphant but what he's saying isn't so much. - 4/5 10. Hard to Say Goodbye - The soft base building up is pretty dope. I can't tell if it switched to guitar or it it's still the base. I like how it softens back up to a background strumming guitar 1/3 of the way through. - 4/5 11. Final Days - Super interesting. Couldn't tell if the muffled voices were supposed to be in a hospital or something like that. Sounded like people on a bad intercom. He has this knack for having upbeat sounding songs with more heavy lyrics. - 4/5 12. Interlude (Loving the People) - I didn't even notice the track changed I was just vibin'. I think that's good right? - 4/5 13. Solid Ground - Still struggle to understand what he says but the vibes are good. I like this one too. - 5/5 14. Light - I just kinda zoned out and enjoyed the last track. - 4/5

Foo Fighters by Foo Fighters
Oct 02 2023

Have you seen any Foos around here bothering anyone? Of course not, the Foo Fighters fought them all off. National treasures they are. 4/5

Urban Hymns by The Verve
Oct 03 2023

Pretty good jams. First track will be stuck in my head for 3 weeks but that's okay

Transformer by Lou Reed
Oct 09 2023

Wasn't feeling this. Had to stop and listen to it later over the weekend.

Brown Sugar by D'Angelo
Oct 11 2023

Super Chill music.

Heavy Weather by Weather Report
Oct 12 2023

This was super cool. Not usually my kind of music but was good for zoomies for work

Guero by Beck
Oct 17 2023

Started off strong but got kinda weird for me as it progressed.

Phrenology by The Roots
Oct 18 2023

Could not get into this to save my life

Billion Dollar Babies by Alice Cooper
Oct 20 2023

Didn't recognize any of these older songs other than No More Mr. Nice Guy. Overall pretty decent album. Definitely doesn't reflect the image of Alice Cooper I have in my mind. Reading about the history they picked their name because they didn't want to have a dark name. Funny that this would be considered dark music.

Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Oct 24 2023

Immigrant Song sets the tone for the album. Unfortunately it's the best song on the album. If the rest had been as good it would have been a 10/10 album. Although the rest are good, they're not on the same level.

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
Oct 25 2023

Didn't like this as much as I hoped I would.

Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park
Oct 31 2023

One of my all time favorite albums. Classic. RIP Chester

Boston by Boston
Dec 01 2023

🔥🔥🔥 Literally perfect.

Birth Of The Cool by Miles Davis
Dec 04 2023

Pretty chill, I think I prefer Louis Armstrong though, mostly for nostalgia. I do prefer a little bit of vocals in there along with the trumpet

Music for the Masses by Depeche Mode
Dec 05 2023

Enjoyed this more than I thought I would :) Wasn't expecting Sonata #14 at the end there.

The Rise & Fall by Madness
Dec 06 2023

Not really my jam but the Maxwell House Jingle gets it 3 stars

The Message by Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five
Dec 07 2023

Kinda funky, enjoyed some of it but other songs were very weird.

Highly Evolved by The Vines
Dec 08 2023

Album started off strong, I was a little sleepy so it took me a min to get into it but I dig it

Homework by Daft Punk
Dec 12 2023

Love Daft Punk but a few of those were a bit too much for me. Still the bangers were worth 4 stars

Boy In Da Corner by Dizzee Rascal
Dec 14 2023

Sorry I don't know if it was my mood or what but I could not stand this mans voice. Didn't make it past the second song

BEYONCÉ by Beyoncé
Dec 15 2023

Surprisingly I've never listened to any of Beyonce's stuff beyond what came on the radio.

Life Thru A Lens by Robbie Williams
Jan 24 2024

Never heard of this guy but not too bad. Kinda a beetle's pop vibe sometimes

Jan 25 2024

Don't think I've heard most of these songs before. Still can't go wrong with Queen

Marquee Moon by Television
Jan 26 2024

Interesting. A little bit of a meh vibe Elevation was kinda cool tho

Tusk by Fleetwood Mac
Jan 29 2024

A little more experimental than their normal stuff. Not bad, but not what I like Fleetwood Mac for.

Lost In The Dream by The War On Drugs
Jan 30 2024

Songs seemed like chill vibes but these songs were like 2 minutes too long for me to get into them. Maybe another day

Tres Hombres by ZZ Top
Apr 24 2024

packed full of classics. Loved it

Sep 17 2024

I enjoy me some Queen but some of this was just not quite my jam. Obviously the 3 songs that are bangers were still bangers.
