Californication
Red Hot Chili PeppersSo many singles, I forget about tracks like Road Trippin and I Like Dirt

Oh yeah, that hits the spot. This is the album I've been searching for. Easy listen, complete album, funky
Wow, did not know the did a The Doors sample. Couple of bangers, not much else there doing it for me
Did not expect the reggae influence. Really blending genres, you can tell it's original and an early ska influence but has very brit roots. Sounds much later than '79
Morgan and I agree it sounds like Joni Mitchell meets Tracy Chapman.
Paranoid & Master of Reality are two of my all time fav albums, this is a good listen but just doesn't quite reach that level for me. I was today years old when I found out Changes wasn't written by Charles Bradley.
All time coffee shop tunes
3.5, it's objectively good but not my favorite work of theirs. It's about a 50% hit rate. Got more jammy than I remembered
More 90's sound than I remembered. Violently Happy is a vibe. Might need a few more listens
Cisco kid is a great track, vibes are good. Good background tunes
Boy, this one was all over the place.
Pretty jazzy but bounces back and forth to 80s Brit pop
Kinda all the same song, but that song is a banger
Unlike anything before or since
Can't truly appreciate the Beatles without the Stones to compare them to.
Fitting that it came out the same year as Fat of the Land because they have a very similar sound. First listen but it sounds very familiar.
Enjoyed this more than I expected. Was very confused about the concept of Sex Packets until Packet Man at the end of the album to went into great detail about what a Sex Packet was and wasn't. TLC explained Scrubs in 30sec, you had 7:20 and but felt a separate track was still necessary.
Brass in pocket *chef's kiss*
Ten out of 10 (but honestly, how do you put 11 tracks on an album called Ten?)
Like Andy Schauf but sadder somehow
Obviously some solid, classic tracks. Liked BD's 115th Dream a lot too
Key track: all tracks
We'll, don't judge a book by it's album cover I guess. Key track: Johnny
Pretty solid 8 song run in the middle with a few true bangers
Solid. Fell in Love With a Girl music vid was a formative music moment for me back in the day. Dead Leaves also an awesome track
Moments of genius and moments of "cock my brain to shoot my load"
Don't think twice it's alright is pure gold
One of my favorite live albums
Nice
I honestly thought Walk was by Metallica. This is going straight on the weightroom playlist
Dishoom had one of these songs on their album, which is neat. Pretty great sitar jams
Key track: Sound and Vision ❤️
Perfect lazy Sunday vibes
Absolutely cutting lyrics, especially for 1967
Flaming lips, Built to spill and M83 vibes
The cover adds at least half a star
One of Cooper's favs
Why this album?!
Boy, The Weight sure is a lot better/different from the other tracks on this album
This and Folsom Prison are two of my fav live albums. Love the banter
