Electric Warrior
T. Rexdefinitely reminds me of other music from the era. television, tom petty, british wave. can't decide if I like it enough to keep coming back.

I love beck. this slow and mourning sounding beck is my least favorite, though. This music is beautiful but not quite my cup of tea.
It is hard to get past the absolute cliche of Depeche Mode as 80s synth rock. but after I do I realize this album is full of absolute bangers. I don't even know what most of these instruments are but they sound great.
the rhythmic music and longsome vocals remind me of other african music I've heard. there are some real jams on here though I have a hard time really resonating with it.
is it weird to say that this album bored me?
classic radiohead. sounds like bonus tracks of OK Computer and I'm here for it.
I really love this album. I don't think I'd ever heard it before. It definitely feels a bit dated, coming out in 2000, but in all the ways I love.
have been aware of this album for a few years, ever since I saw it show up as a top rock album of all time. reminds me of brit pop. really infectious songs. sounds modern.
I love LCD Soundsystem. this is arguably their weakest album, no idea why it's on this list.
excellent
meh. should I like this more? i don't.
this album sounds like a classic to me, maybe because I'm so familiar with it, and maybe because at this point it IS a classic. I remember a moment in the early 2000s maybe when anyone hip had this album on their radar.
This album sounds like 1992 hip hop. I'm really surprised I haven't heard of it before. I do feel like I would have loved it if I had heard it then, but today it sounds very dated and hard for me to really "get".
Not really digging this album. it sounds generically like lots of things from the 60s but doesn't have the interest that I get from bands like The Who. meh, boring.
I came to this album late, a few years after it was released. In some ways I didn't really know Nirvana until after Kobain had passed away. This album is awesome and timeless.
Absolute Classic. Everything about new hip hop that I love. It's so good and also not for me, I sometimes feel sheepish about grooving to it so much.
This is another album that feels DATED. 20 years is maybe the sweet spot where things start to feel dated without having the shine of legacy. Overall I think NERD suffers from sounding SO MUCH LIKE NERD. I think they are eclipsed by the hits that NERD has done for other people. It sounds like a Snoop Dogg or Justin Timberlake song without those key stars.
couple good jams on here. I feel like if I listened to this album 10 or more times I'd fall in love with it. Will I do that? unlikely.
epic. iconic guitar riffs, iconic guitar sounds. great songs, even beyond the hits.
my father, being named frank, was given a t-shirt in the 80s that said "Frankie Says Relax". It was probably another decade later before I realized this shirt related to the song on this album. the first half of this album sounds like a reprise of their hit Relax. I do like the few covers I recognized. also I bet this was very provocative when it came out. Does make you wonder about the Parental Advisory sticker, which only came about a decade latter when rappers were talking about sex. racism really is everywhere.
ashamed to admit I found this album a bit boring.
I have fond memories of this album. listening to it now, it feels like bubblegum that has lost it's chew. it's still good, but it's nostalgia for me is fading. maybe if I was in the right mood.
weirdly this doesn't actually sound very dated. still, I don't quite get it.
love this album, it's amazing
there are a couple bangers on here that I love to belt, but lots of tracks that don't quite resonate with me.
I feel like a plebeian for not getting into jazz more. These two tracks sound like I'm in a smoky bar sipping scotch.
classic. in 2025 it's hard to classify this as any sort of "metal". sounds like pop!
metal
dancy and fun
because of listening to bark at the moon too young, ozzy's voice continues to scare me.
beautiful
just sounds old. didn't find anything on here that I particularly liked.
sounds like 90s indie rock. never heard of this band before but I've definitely heard a dozen bands that sound just like this.
couple bangers here
fuck yes.
not as great as I remember? I remember going to the EMP music museum in seattle and seeing this record in the shop there, thinking it was a sign of ultimate coolness. I listened to it a bit after that and thought I really loved it.
not bad. doesn't really catch me though.
big fan.
eh.
i love the monkees but this album doesn't have anything I remember.
I love the song Pink Moon, likely because of a pringles commercial? the rest of this album is ethereal and dreamy, if maybe a bit boring.
I love joni mitchell but I'm on the fence about her music. Feel like I didn't hear it at the right time.
I mean, comon.
great singer, great songs.
This album is really good.
