The popness has kept me away from Adele and there's no arguing that's a great album.
Good album, very much of a specific time and place though.
I mean it's not bad or anything. Just never really my style musically.
Certified classic.
Great album, and great great mix too. I normally hate a flattened sound but yeah this is killer.
God. I adored this album for so long. I still love it, it's a place in time but also incredibly like going home. I love it still.
She's got such a unique sound, but this album never really connected for me even though it's objectively quite good.
God what a voice. What a vibe. Great album.
Only because of the Fallout Games and nostalgia this get 4 stars.
5 stars for Castles Made of Sand & Little Wing alone.
Some veeeeeeeery long solos. I like Chicago / Driving Blues generally but still a bit self indulgent noodly album.
I liked this but I like some terrible stuff. You'd need to be in the right mood, but this took me right back to a specific time and place. It feels strongly genetically linked to my genre horcrux, Horror Country.
I came to hair metal later in life (Iron Maiden was the gateway band there) and this album is very very solid. Some absolute bogan anthems here.
Bangers. Mark Knofler is the GOAT.
Great album, lush mix of sounds.
Hits notes and themes that I often enjoy. Just more cinematic than it was musical for me though.
Battling the 60s/70s psychedelic vibes here. It's ok, I guess.
Manson sucks. Interesting album as a cultural thing and sonic uniqueness, but Manson sucks.
Wanted to like it. First track good, rest pretty blah.
Can't work with it on. Few bangers. Few songs that were too hard work.
Awesome classic hip-hop sounds. I love how warm the overall mix is, it really shows up her voice.
Absolute 5 star album. Felt like a whole musical moment when this broke through. Ten Cent Pistol gets my Fallout games / western vibes a goin' too!
I struggled through this.
Very very sharp album that grows with each listen. Absolute solid 5 star album.
This one doesn't miss. Absolute pure joy across the whole album. The Dolby Atmos mix is amazing too, but I'd listen to this on a worn out cassette tape in the car and still have a great time.
Yeah didn't mind this. I like how rap in another language makes you feel like you are in a space station somewhere.
Not for me today. Maybe another day.
I gave it a crack and I like some folk bullsheet. But this one hurt my brain.
Yeah this one rips. Had a few jam sessions disguised as LP's in this process but this one is something else. Musically inventive and wild as hell for the time period. Great album.
This has grown on me quite a bit, and there's a lot of great bits here. I can see how this album was very influential.
Boomer jazz. Can't deal.
It was ok. Very typical mid 2000's alt sound.
Some great 80's action here. The bangers be bangin', the other stuff pretty good.
Great musicianship and pretty great mix. Wasn't especially in the mood when I started but it grew on me.
Musically important and lot of absolute bangers.
Meh. I liked this back in the day but these days it leaves me pretty cold.
Nah son, this ain't it.
Solid vibes - good work music although entirely open office inappropes.
I mean, obviously.
