Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
Oct 26 2023

It was fine. Sounded like a local band at a county musikfest.

Innervisions by Stevie Wonder
Oct 27 2023

Absolute fire. Def a classic I will return to.

Melodrama by Lorde
Nov 01 2023

The sounds I hear on this album I would have never considered sounding good together but Lorde makes it beautiful. The melodies are fresh and original and the lyrics are heartbreaking and moving. This is a modern classic

Nevermind by Nirvana
Nov 02 2023

The highs are high and the lows are low. Very off kiltered album. It's got some classics but not much else

Bryter Layter by Nick Drake
Nov 03 2023

Was pretty good. I enjoyed

Microshift by Hookworms
Nov 09 2023

LOVED THIS. Sounds like Animal Collective with the bass from Kid A.

Oxygène by Jean-Michel Jarre
Nov 10 2023

This was fire and you can hear the influences it has on future generations of electronic music. That being said, I could not imagine standing shoulder to shoulder with 3.5 MILLION people to see this live lol

Back In Black by AC/DC
Nov 13 2023

It was just fine. Solid hits but the lyrics were boring and it was just generally really repetitive. The riffs were sick tho

Heavy Weather by Weather Report
Nov 15 2023

HOOOOOOOO BABY THIS IS FIRE. I didnt even realize this was Jaco until the 2nd or 3rd listen. Absolute classic and will be returning to this many times in the future

Tapestry by Carole King
Nov 27 2023

This was a really lovely album. I was home for Thanksgiving when this was given to me and when I put it on my mom and dad sang along to almost every song.

Paul Simon by Paul Simon
Nov 28 2023

This was a really pleasant listen.

Dummy by Portishead
Nov 30 2023

This has objectively good songs with objectively better instrumentals

This is an absolute FEAST for the ears. I’m getting like, ozzy vocal intonation with Tony Iommi guitar, but like this Broadway level performance one moment, classic/psych rock the next, experimental rock after that. All of this should not work but the cohesiveness of Alex’s voice and vision keeps this together. It’s amazing how much he is able to explore in a single album and not make it sound like mush or confusing. Update- just realized this whole thing is about sex addiction (?).
