Tuesday Night Music Club by Sheryl Crow

Sheryl Crow is so confusing for me since when I hear her I can tell she is great but somehow I am not target for her songs. All I wanna do is still such a bop that I can not give this bad rating. She is everything Taylor Swift should be but never will.

The Velvet Underground & Nico by The Velvet Underground
Nov 03 2023

Most of the songs are focused on very honest side of addiction of the author. You can hear very strong influence of the age and lifestyle. Knowing how essential and inspirational this album was for the history, you can hear many sounds and themes that were later rediscovered by whole generation of artists and music styles. Raw and Honest album in every sense ( music, lyrics, themes, solos)

Nov 05 2023

Essential old-school RAP album discussing wide range of topics from zeitgeist and daily reality of some people. Music and melodies that influenced and keep inspiring generations. Incorporated whole idea of Wu-Tang through whole album with all lyrical and musical references. Heavy influence on melodic hip-hop and trip hop. Although I feel like this album speaks mostly to the generations of USA with some pop culture moments and nostalgia caching up around the world but generally speaking this might be less interesting listen to people out of generation/culture of USA in terms of lyrics. Melodies are crossing generations and borders.

Head Hunters by Herbie Hancock
Nov 06 2023

Solid Jazz Album with funky vibe. I wouldn't say that it was something I haven't heard before and it was life changing. Good background music I guess.

The Suburbs by Arcade Fire
Nov 07 2023

Indie-pop-rock album that discuss the topic of growing up in suburbs into the very depth of it. Production and music is amazing and its accompanied with lyrics that makes you stop and rethink your potential experiences of moving away from place you used to grow and and what kind of person you might have become.

Van Halen by Van Halen
Nov 08 2023

I am sorry to all the fans but I can not really listen to this for more than 2 minutes without being bored to death. Lo-Fi girl 24/7 video is more entertaining for me than this. I do not doubt that people who enjoy this have many good things to say. Usually I try to be objective with ratings but I dont think I have anything positive to say about this. I dont even feel this album got much impact on music of todays and time is usually biggest art critique. I guess it might not have stood the test of time then.

xx by The xx
Nov 09 2023

Very monotonous album. Every song sounds very much same which makes the experience dreadful. Album itself is pretty much on the trend of 2009 sound where most of the songs sounds exactly same. I can not draw much positive from this album.

Maverick A Strike by Finley Quaye
Nov 10 2023

Surprisingly not so bad for Scottish Reggae. It is not a life changing album neither performance but it does mix well Reggae and Rock. I just can not stop thinking how hilarious he has to look while doing this accent since I can hardly believe this is how he sounds with his speaking voice. 3.5/5

Green by R.E.M.
Nov 12 2023

I guess okay. Not my cup of tea but it’s not bad in any way

Siamese Dream by The Smashing Pumpkins
Nov 13 2023

This is my very first time listening to The Smashing Pumpkins and I always thought their music is bit harder. There are some very famous riffs and lyrics but the sound is very monotonous for my taste. I can see the influence of the age where many bands had very similar sound and annunciation. I dont think this album showed much of a range for the band.

Pieces Of The Sky by Emmylou Harris
Nov 16 2023

Personal taste opinion. I tried to be non-biased but this type of music does not speak to me at all.

Dirt by Alice In Chains
Nov 18 2023

The guitar there is pretty insane.

Sunshine Superman by Donovan
Nov 19 2023

There is something that hits so right with all those Psychedelic Rock albums from those times. From the esthetics to the instruments and topics. It all sends you to a different dimension which I guess is what good art is about. Raw recordings of instruments and usage of classic music makes this extra lovely experience.

The Who Sell Out by The Who
Nov 20 2023

I am sorry but I do not get this album. Its all over the place. Sounds like music for advertisements. The Who in general is popular in random movies and advertisements but this was just not good in my eyes.

Tuesday Night Music Club by Sheryl Crow
Nov 22 2023

Sheryl Crow is so confusing for me since when I hear her I can tell she is great but somehow I am not target for her songs. All I wanna do is still such a bop that I can not give this bad rating. She is everything Taylor Swift should be but never will.

The Nightfly by Donald Fagen
Nov 23 2023

Just an average sounding album.

Africa Brasil by Jorge Ben Jor
Nov 24 2023

Evening after work chill music for me

Drunk by Thundercat
Nov 26 2023

Really good. Amazing music. Lyrics are not completely nonsense too. Definitely takes you places

Gold by Ryan Adams
Nov 30 2023
Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg
Dec 02 2023

Lyrics are really cheesy by the todays standards but Snoop Dogg is a brand and he is selling the well crafted and maintained story. If you think about this as a concept album with GTA Vice City radio vibes, this is genius. I assume that this had to be game changing at the time of the release for some people and basically become staple piece from then.

Dec 04 2023

They definitely have specific sounds but it makes every song sounds the same. I got fatigue from listening to this album. Forgot what day, time, year it is since every second of album sounds alike.

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
Dec 05 2023

This albums face slaps me straight to the childhood, watching Charmed on TV after school. Very first song I heard from this was You Oughta Know on a singing competition. While barely speaking any English or picking up lyrics I still remember how much I was affected by the strength of that songs. This song is soaked up with raw emotions which are communicated so clear without even needing to speak English to understand.

Music by Madonna
Dec 06 2023

Not as groundbreaking as other might say just because they remember few songs from MTV.

Dummy by Portishead
Dec 12 2023
Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Dec 14 2023
Bat Out Of Hell by Meat Loaf
Dec 15 2023

Too theatrical for me. Sounds like Jack Black doing Broadway musical.

Music From Big Pink by The Band
Dec 16 2023

+1 point for Album cover painted by Bob Dylan and whole their bromance thing that was going on.

1999 by Prince
Dec 18 2023

I know its Prince and I am supposed to rate high but I think album is just okay. I was not blown away and I barely remember any tune or song after listening so I guess its not that life-changing art.

Lost In The Dream by The War On Drugs
Dec 19 2023

Surprisingly not as annoying I would be afraid it can be compared to bands that sounds/sounded similar.

Dec 22 2023

Little bit too much. After half of the album I got this creepy vibe that someone is hitting on me so I had to stop.

Sign 'O' The Times by Prince
Dec 24 2023

My second Prince album and I still does not understand the appeal. If someone can explain me why person with cartoonish voice singing about sex should be appealing? I am not saying it aged badly but I don’t see how would this succeed released today

Darkness on the Edge of Town by Bruce Springsteen
Dec 25 2023

Average. Taylor Swift of old generation and same as her it’s just and ordinary and average. Might resonate with people since it’s so generic.

High Violet by The National
Dec 28 2023

Terrible singing pretentious and monotonous singing voice. Really poor lyricism which is driven by storytelling but of such a cliché topics.

25 by Adele
Dec 30 2023

Mature and solid. Wonder how would rating change for a generation that is not so familiar with Adele in future.

Toys In The Attic by Aerosmith
Jan 05 2024

Big Guitar Hero vibes. There are some hits, very distinct sound and definitely stable for some people. Not as bad as I was expecting but did not surprise either.

Black Monk Time by The Monks
Jan 08 2024

For very specific vibes and situations

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Jan 11 2024

Classic, hard to argue with

Forever Changes by Love
Jan 12 2024

Psychedelic quintessentials with The Red Telephone. Yes, please

Survivor by Destiny's Child
Jan 14 2024

Bop after bop.

Parachutes by Coldplay
Jan 15 2024

Very good memories for this album and I saw them perfoming few songs of this album live.

Boston by Boston
Jan 16 2024

Meh

Parsley, Sage, Rosemary And Thyme by Simon & Garfunkel
Jan 22 2024

This type of melody I heard many times in all the old movies in Europe so it is not really new experience.

Bayou Country by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Jan 23 2024

Not my cup of tea but I can tell its quality music

Venus Luxure No. 1 Baby by Girls Against Boys
Jan 24 2024

This sound somehow more authentic than so many other bands.

Movies by Holger Czukay
Jan 28 2024
Shalimar by Rahul Dev Burman
Feb 04 2024
Raw Power by The Stooges
Nov 13 2025

The guitar work is great, but Iggy’s performance feels overtly theatrical, which was clearly the point. It captures the chaos of its time, though it hasn’t aged gracefully to modern ears used to the “authenticity” era. The record carries a distinct vibe of its era, both shaped by it and probably helping to shape it in future. Second half of the album felt little bit more refined in some way and the references sounds more clear. I am not sure if that was intentional or not. 4 (mostly for the era defining qualities and uncompromised style) 3 (personally and without context)
