Muito bem construído e estruturado, Ready or Not e How Many Mics são obras primas.
2/5
P.S: A música que menos gosto é Smoke On the Water
It's been a while..
It was good then, It is still good now.
This album gives me goosebumps. Well written, well executed, a classic from the 90s.
The guitars and drums are the stars here, there are really good lines here to listen to.
Cherub Rock is such an amazing song to kickstart the álbum.
5/5
I liked, I really liked ..
Janis Joplin is really amazing, what a woman, she is for sure one of the best to ever do It, and this record does not have a single bad song.
It is just... Good. A classic
She deserves a 5.
Great album, you can hear so many different genres on It.
The instrumentals are great, the vocals are great and I can hear so many samples that were used later on.
Enjoyed listening to this One.
4/5
Boring as fuck.
This album did not aged well...
Never been a huge Doors fan. This is an OK album, It has 2 great songs (L.A Woman and Riders on the storm), 1 good song (Changeling) and the other are ok songs (just regular blues stuff).
I enjoy the genre, but maybe was expecting more from them, It just felt like an ok Blues album.
3/5
Maybe I would have liked more If I was American. Much of the songs did not hit me at all, but It feels that 90% of the USA knows them.
Cool album. 3/5
First song is really good..
But then it sounded like a default 90s album for 40 minutes.
It is not bad, It is just... Standard.
"Punk rock is too simple"... They say..
Listen to those Bass lines carefully and talk to me again.
Best Punk Rock album ever, by far, and os even better If you listen to the expanded Edition (Police Truck rocks..)
Easy 5/5
Quite boring in the beggining, and the end feels like the beggining.
A cool album though, very well produced, I Just can't seallow Indie stuff yet.
2/5
Hell of a classic to me. This album has exactly my age and listening completely for the first time ever was cool.
Never liked Alanis very much, but this one is a banger
4/5
I don't know...
It has some cool songs and the drums are really nice, and that's It, nothing else.
For some reason there is a 15-minute of silence at the end of the album, which I do not understand at all.
Maybe the elder ones listened to Rush and Pink Floyd in the 70s and had the same feeling that I had listening to this.
It is a 2.5... But I will give It a 2. It was nice try...
Best Indie rock album so far.
It is funny, and It is good. Way better then Klaxons e Arcade Fire for sure (the ones that I listened so far).
Maybe I will listen to more Pavement in the Future.
The best non-rock album that I listened so far.
What an amazing display of musicianship.
The only problem, is that this album lost me sometimes. One or two tracks made me feel quite bored. It would be a perfect 5/5.
4/5
Not my type of music, but I enjoyed some of the songs, I was even able to recognize a lot of Brazilian stuff on It and It was cool.
Unfortynately, there were only 2 songs that I enjoyed listening (Luna y Sol and Welcome to Tijuana), so to match the songs I liked, I will give It a 2 stars.
It was cool, the First half of the album is weak, One good song only, the second half is stronger, way better.
All around, is quite ok. I liked, listened to some stuff that reminded me of The Beatles somehow and I enjoyed.
But an album with 3 or 4 good songs only can't have a higher note than 3.
But I liked.
Good guitar work, really well produced, but this album felt good for about 2 minutes and then It turns into weird mix of Glam metal and Ramones with some bad vocals and strange lyrics.
For me It is kind weird for this album to be on this list, It does not feels memorable at all (I listened to worst stuff so far, but they were important somehow), so I went to look at the book and found this explanation below:
"
When other European rockers of the '90s were being influenced by Pearl Jam, Sevendust, or Radiohead, Oslo, Norway's Turbonegro decided to provide a throwback to the decadent, hedonistic glam metal, heavy metal, and hard rock of the '70s and '80s. Combine the influence of punk rock with traces of Alice Cooper, Mötley Crüe, Judas Priest, or Quiet Riot, and you've got Apocalypse Dudes, an in-your-face album that thrives on wild, rowdy, bratty fun. The whole thing is decidedly over-the-top, and titles like "Good Head," "Don't Say Motherfucker, Motherfucker," "Rock Against Anus," and "Zillion Dollar Sadist" end up turning this CD into a very entertaining and humorous caricature of pop-metal, hard rock, and punk. In fact, it's hard to miss the parallels between Apocalypse Dudes and Spinal Tap. But outrageousness alone wouldn't make this CD worthwhile — thankfully, Turbonegro has a lot of catchy, infectious hooks to back itself up.
Alex Henderson"
Personally, I feel that Spinal Tap is way better.
2/5
A good album to smoke weed.
I don't smoke weed, so I can't say if it's good.
2/5
Technically speaking, It is a hell of an album, really well produced abd executed.
But in the end, it is just a collection of songs to play on the background while you are doing something.
Really good to read or focus.
2/5
Really noisy stuff, with no lyrics and just some kind of moans.
Glad that Smashing Pumpkins upgraded this sound.
Ok stuff.
3/5
Nothing much to expect, It is Ramones.
3 chords, a 4/4 tempo and that's It, history is made.
Starts to get boring after the 10th track haha
3/5
Yes, It is cool. Confirmed
It has some moments, but It is really boring....
2/5
Well, one of the quitessential heavy-metal albums of all time, it has everything that made me listen to heavy metal.
Vocals are on point, Bruce at it's best.
Guitars are nearly perfect.
The lyrics are not the best, I agree. But fuck it, the music is perfect.
One of the best heavy metal work ever.
Enjoy
5/5
Surprisingly, I enjoyed listening to this album. Made me see that R.E.M goes beyond "Shiny happy people". It is a deep album with some great songs.
It is still not my favorite kind of music, but I enjoyed a lot.
4/5
GET TO THE CHOPPER!!
4/5
Definitely overdone, there are 3 good songs, and a bunch of below overall stuff.
It is a generic Beatles cover.
