1001 Albums Summary

I really enjoyed this album some songs I have heard before but didn't know which album they had come from. It has an overall sound similar to the song Days which I have always liked. Good choice good variety of music on this album I will listen to it again

Although I like Willie Nelson and he has many good songs and this recording is very well done, I do not find it to be one of Willie's better albums because it shows the limitations of his vocals. The songs are great each one is good but I prefer other performers renditions much better and think how a different vocalist would have sounded much better saying the part that Willie is singing on these songs. Unfortunately I think his vocal range just doesn't work well even though you can tell he really tries and in some cases succeeds. His guitar playing is very good on Stardust

This one's not for me. I enjoy some deep purple songs but overall I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to it again

I wish I could say I like this album. The music is nice not great and his voice is extremely average and forgettable. It almost sounds a little bit like a watered down Beatles or Beach boy want to be. Kind of like if you took art Garfunkel solo albums and took the life out of them or vampire weekend and put a pillow over it so you just heard the muffled remains.

Interesting album

Definitely one of Rundgren's worst LPs. 3 very good songs and about 20+ poor songs to slog through. He's got many great LPs solo and with Utopia why choose this one? 5 stars for 3 songs 1 for the rest.equals 2.

May be Elvis' best.
