Aftermath
The Rolling StonesBullshit. Terrible album. Terrible band
Bullshit. Terrible album. Terrible band
Some iconic songs - some other not so iconic songs. Could tell this was the turn of the decade. Decent album - glad i listened to it. Would like to own it on vinyl
Amazing lead off track. Good follow up Love her voice. Love the sound - soulful, folky and layered. Insane guitar work. Like fire. Musically superior album
I always assumed Dusty Springfield was a country singer. I was stupidly mistaken. The first three tracks instantly made me assume I was listening to Adelle and Amy Winehouses' inspiration. Timeless sound.
Iconic
Bullshit. Terrible album. Terrible band
Awesome lead of track. The rest of the album was uninspiring and derivative. Beautiful voice and sound but nothing new or unique
It was fine. They are like a less awesome TV on The Radio.
I would have rated this album a 3 but it was 2.5 hours long. Who do they think they are. No thanks.
Unparalleled perfection!!! No notes. One of THE BEST albums PERIOD
Beautiful album. Musically superior. Iconic. Godfathers of modern folk
Iconic hip hop album. Love Q-Tip
Amazing iconic metal album
Absolute garbage. I don’t care how catchy you think a song is. . . There is no good reason that a pop disco songs needs to go on for more than 3 minutes- let alone almost 6. The lead off track to this album is complete trash. Sounds like it was written and recorded by 3rd graders. So many songs that I had to skip because they were completely unpalatable. This album made me seriously question the taste and sanity of the author of this book as well as life itself. I am terrified that Chic Cheer is going to haunt my psyche for years to come and end up being my ultimate demise as though it were some demonic ring-like track. Never again.
Some amazing guitar classics. A few too many mediocre unremarkable tracks to give it a 5
Beautiful vocals. Classic 60s sound. Iconic Album
I listened to this album once 20 years ago. Now I remember why I only listened to it once. Over rated. Horrible album - it literally has ONE good song on it and it's the LAST SONG. And that ONE good song - goes on for SEVENTEEN MINUTES. EXCESSIVE AND UNNECESSARY Everything on this album is repetitive and mind-numbing. Skip fest.
Great start to the album but everything after that was crap. Music is decent but the lyrics are problematic and derivative of other artists. Van Morrison comes to mind. Not a great album. Not sure why it’s on the list. Definitely one of many that could have been edited. I truly believe that this list could have been paired down to 555 songs.
Amazing music. Love Thelonious
Complete garbage
One of the best albums of the 90s. Innovative and original. A complete masterpiece.
