Fly Or Die
N.E.R.D2004 must have been a year reviewers where smoking crack and taking bungs. How this is rated is beyond me, let alone in this list Absolutely terrible.

It had some good songs but also felt it wondered too much in places.
Absolutely love this album. Lennon BVs sound incredible and Paul hasn’t gone full parlour songs yet.
Not a big Stevie Wonder fan but this was quite gospel in places and enjoyed the last song
My favourite Beatles album. Good memories of hearing this for the first time. Reason why I have a massive framed poster
Okish. Be a good background album. Opens with Let’s Stay Together.
A few decent tracks. I used to love this album but just not feeling it as much anymore. Not sure what’s changed in me to not rate it as much.
Some great songs on here. A few remind me of moving to wales when I was young. Driving up the M4 at night while my mum played Dusty

At 44 mins it seemed longer. Well produced and love how fat the bass sounds. Good debut. Only a 3 as not many stand outs.
Great opener. A fair few good songs on it. Enjoyed this.
Appreciate the work but it’s not for me.
WHO WOULD RATE THIS?!?! About 4 songs that are ok. The rest is mental illness on toast. Who makes an album 2hrs and 30 odd minutes long. I listened to the lot trying to make sense but it just wound me up to be honest. The reviews are insane. Should have just called it 1000 albums to listen and leave this off.
What an album. 35 mins of pure smooth down tempo funk. Crispy highs and punchy lows. Sounds great, plenty of space.
Really wasn’t expecting to really like this album. So ridiculously 80s it’s near on perfect. Well produced and sounds sonically good. Synth pop at its best. Another way to look at this is if Savage Garden were in the 80s.
Just wow. What an incredible album. Steve Lillywhite produces a masterpiece. Gabriel is such a great songwriter and his voice is so powerful.
Really well produced and relaxing with headphones on. I did enjoy these at their peak but always a band I forget about. Well worth playing again
Wow. Really is an album for it’s time. Sounds crisp but very boring and dated. Not for me.
I’m defo not the target audience however, I really did enjoy this. Hints of Dizzee and Kendrick
Love this album since it came out. Probably haven’t played it all the way through for 20 years. Still holds up. Remaster is better in my opinion.
Some great dark tunes and plus the singles but some not so good tunes. Love the production and the guitar work from Wes
Pull down rock with high production. Still holds up for me
Speed mental kings! Sounds very dated but still great for the genre.
Not the target audience but really liked the production and with it only being 50 mins there’s no fatigue
Few good tracks and there’s the singles. Very much stuck in time
Not my cup of tea. One to leave in that decade
To listen to this the day after he passed away is great. Personally, not a great album for me. Great production and a few stand outs but just sounds like mental illness. Fly high Brian!
How is this even on here. Really full of ego and ramblings. Got to a minute in of Do Wop and thought life is too short to be listening to this tripe.
I was 13 when this came out and absolutely loved it. Still do now. Holds up after all these years. Raw and pop in places.
Sonically huge. So crispy turned up. Perfect summers evening album. Mark Hollis is massively underrated and often missed off lists. Tune in, zone out and let this wash over you.
