An album full of jams. I under the whole ‘Beatle Mania’ thing now. If I were a basic straight girl in the ‘60s, I would go feral for the Beatles.

It’s funky. It’s groovy. I dig it. Though R&B is not quite my taste, I respect the art and passion that Curtis and his team put into the project.

An eclectic sound for the ‘70s but at the same time, very fitting for the time. Their creativity shines throughout the album and makes for a fun and groovy time. I think this is an album that deserves multiple listens before judging

An odd and eccentric project from Simon inspired by African percussion. The songs are fun though I can see how it is not for everyone. Perhaps not a classic, but definitely a memorable album

Eminem is unapologetically brutal in both his lyricism and attitude. This project really showcases his range by incorporating elements of horrorcore and gangsta rap. It definitely didn’t hurt to have Dr Dre co-producing. This album definitely determines wether or not Eminem is for you. Yes he has some weirder, satirical songs that make him sound like a middle-school edgelord, but you cannot deny the lyrical talent that he possesses.

A wonderful example of the beginnings of alt rock. It is a fun and lively album perfect for any pre-teen rebel to yell along to in their bedroom while their parents argue loudly downstairs

A beautiful recording. Vaughan’s voice smooth and full of emotion. You can hear how much she enjoys performing which makes the listening experience even better.

This album highlights the power of lyrical storytelling. Lamar does a fantastic job of drawing the audience in with catchy beats and samples then proceeding to spit fire
