1001 Albums Summary

Great album with nostalgic memories of some of these songs coming on in a club and dancing while singing along.

A good listen. I like Aerosmith but haven't listened to this album in a long while - I have now listened to it on repeat. I forgot how good it is.

I've never really listened to Willie Nelson before but was pleasantly surprised by this. It helped that I was familiar with some of the songs. I like how some have been arranged.

I remember buying this and listening to it on loop when it first came out. In fact, so many songs off this album were used in films, TV shows and adverts at the time: society was almost saturated with it!

I lived all the singles from this as they were released and I remember eagerly awaiting the album...it didn't disappoint! Still sounds great and as fresh as it did back then.

Excellent! Starts with one of my favourite songs of all time.

An interesting album. Influences from other well-known bands and artists are really prevalent. It's not a bad sound and I may look into more if their music. I had never heard of this lot before so glad I've had the experience. I'm surprised that this album is in this list: although it's good, there are many more that are better and more famous/popular.

Very generic American soft rock. Nothing that will change the world here. It's all a bit of a dirge with no stand out tracks. I'm surprised this has made the list - there are definitely 1000s of better albums out there. This list must be compiled by a person rather than a poll.

Pleasant but I wouldn't choose to listen to this.

I lived this album when it first came out. Although I've listened to my favourite tracks from it since, I've not listened to the whole things through. I listened to it in its entirety several times yesterday and reminded myself what a masterpiece it is!

Just as I thought, lots of indulgent jangly guitar music. Not for me.
