1001 Albums Summary

One of my favorite albums by one of my favorite artists.

It’s mesmerizing. I can give it my attention and I can leave it the background. It works for me.

There are a couple songs I don’t like, but the ones I do are brilliant enough to make up for them.

The first cursory listen was fun. A good vibe. A second, closer listen, paying attention to lyrics was less impressive.

Not for me.

I like The Kinks, but this album was a little boring if I’m being honest.

Definitely want to spend more time with this.

I didn’t want to like it ,but I did. I give 4 to the album but minus 2 for the artist.

I don’t know the first thing about jazz but this seemed solid and smooth.

I’m reading all these 5-star reviews and I’m just not hearing it. Sounds like they are trying, and failing, to be the B52s. Her voice gets on every one of my nerves. I couldn’t get through the album.

I love Aerosmith, but I don’t love this album.

I guess I have to give it a five.

I know I should rate it higher but other than the obvious standouts I found the album just okay. Blasphemy. I know.

Not my favorite album but it’s Zeppelin.

I might put it on in the background or listen to a couple tracks on the treadmill.

Not my favorite Bowie album but still.

It’s a very high 3 for me, whereas Nevermind would be a 5.

I found it boring.

This is completely new to me. I loved it.

The sounds hurt my brain.
