Abraxas by Santana
Feb 01 2024

It was a fun time! Great mostly instrumental classic rock with grooves, latin grooves. Classic Santana. Good stuff. but not mindblowing. But really really good.

Rust Never Sleeps by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Feb 02 2024

I enjoyed it, but I probably need more time with it to hear what is special about it.

Parallel Lines by Blondie
Feb 05 2024

damn this did absolutely nothing for me. I know the hits obviously, but it just bored me and that's unfortunate.

The Cars by The Cars
Feb 06 2024

Oh this slapped. Just a joyful experience.

Bitte Orca by Dirty Projectors
Feb 08 2024

I have always had a hard time connecting with this brand of piercingly optimistic, menacingly sweet yet self-important indie. (like jess day). But, this was definitely interesting musically. Damn I wish I could give half stars here.

Ten by Pearl Jam
Feb 09 2024

This is like RockTM. Like how I imagined all of 'rock' music and every 'rock band' sounded like when I was 13.

Low by David Bowie
Feb 12 2024

This was not what I expected but it was a good listen nonetheless! Heavily instrumental and experimental but super accessible. I was not blown away but it was fun.

Butterfly by Mariah Carey
Feb 14 2024

This is purely for MC's magnificent voice that sounded great even through my tinny headphones

White Blood Cells by The White Stripes
Feb 15 2024

I mean, it's the white stripes. Re-listened after a couple of years and it's still reliably and unsurprisingly good.

Nilsson Schmilsson by Harry Nilsson
Feb 16 2024

Idk what I expected but it certainly wasnt this silly groovy fun record. It was a good time but I dont see this sticking with me.

Marquee Moon by Television
Feb 19 2024

thank you alvvays for naming a song after tom verlaine and leading me to this fantastic album that is somehow both of its time and beyond it. killer riffs with some songs that are a lil bit overindulgent.

Ghosteen by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Feb 21 2024
Something/Anything? by Todd Rundgren
Feb 22 2024

sweet, funky, interesting but soooo long. too long.

Armed Forces by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Feb 23 2024

Maybe I wasnt in the right mood, but this was grating.

Bayou Country by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Feb 26 2024

just fine.

Gentlemen by The Afghan Whigs
Feb 28 2024

lots of catchy riffs that made this v enjoyable. excited to re-listen at somepoint.

KIWANUKA by Michael Kiwanuka
Mar 12 2024
Dummy by Portishead

Dust by Screaming Trees
