I didn't enjoy it very much. Some songs were good but the lyrics were a bit confusing. There was a lot of talking and not many songs stood out to me. I understand the cultural and artistic significance but it's not my thing. Comfortably good guitar solos though. 2/5
I enjoyed most songs (not the soldier one tho it was really bad and way too long). Crippled Inside was surprisingly good, banjo and all, and also Imagine obviously. The whole album was coherent and I don't know the storylines behind it but I still enjoyed it. I would give it higher but the soldier song exists so 3/5.
Overall I enjoyed the vibes of this album even though I don't usually listen to this genre. Nothing really stood out to me but they were all enjoyable except voodoo doll which is mega bad. 3/5
I enjoyed pretty much all the songs except the ending of 5 years. My favourites are starman, suffragette city, and rock n roll suicide. I wouldn't normally listen to this genre on my own but I enjoys and there are pretty no skips. 4/5
I really like the instrumentals in all the songs. My favourites are the changeling and been down there so long. LA woman and riders on the storm were too long and the other tracks were just okay. 3/5
This was so hard to get through. I don't know why the 1001 link was an hour longer (twice as long) than the album listen on Spotify but I had to listen. The songs were very mediocre and forgettable. I like drums but the 9 minute drum solo (the mule) was too much. The individual songs were also too long. Black night is 6 minutes (multiplied by 3), Lucille is 9 minutes, and child in time is 12 minutes which is insane. I gasped out loud when I saw space truckin for 20 minutes just put me out of my misery already. If I have to listen to black night one more time (making it 4 times total), I will lose it. I don't know how anyone can make it through this entire album and enjoy it. Sorry for uncultured. 1/5
If I was an angsty British teenager in the 90s who wanted to rebel against my parents but didn't want to do anything illegal or get my ass beat I would have blasted this album in my room 24/7. All the songs were 5-6 minutes which I found to be too long. My favourite was diesel power, but a lot of the songs sounded similar and it got repetitive. 2/5
Pleasant but not super memorable or outstanding. Should have been a different Bee Gees album on this list. My favourites were dont wanna live inside myself, when do I, and walking back to waterloo (I love waterloo). 3/5
I like the instrumentals. My favourites are sound and vision, always crashing in the same car, a new career in a new town. The lesson I learned here is I should listen to more instrumental-only songs where men finally learn how to stfu. 3/5
Decent melodies. The instrumentals are good and I appreciate how most songs were short or reasonable lengths (space truckin should take notes). Come in the morning was cool on headphones. Favourites are fall on you, 8:05, the ending of indifference, and rounder- instrumental. 3/5
It's full of classics for a reason. Unfortunately, I have to agree with some white girls I know. Favourites: baby be mine (haha 4:20 min long), beat it, billie jean (she's just a girl), human nature. 4/5
I've heard a lot about Stevie Wonder but this is the first album of his that I have listened to all the way through. I enjoyed and there were pretty much no skips. I don't normally listen to this genre but the album was pleasant to have on in the background. Favourites were contusion, sir duke, summer soft, saturn, and ebony eyes. 4/5
Pretty mediocre but overall listenable. Millenial white men would enjoy this (Kyle, host of WUSA trivia). Favourites: girl from mars, let it flow, and innocent smile instrumental solo. 3/5
Bono. Everytime I see U2 I am reminded of Eddy Burback's video about the Vegas sphere and I chuckle a little. This is all unrelated. The album was decent. Favourites: where the streets have no name, I still haven't found what I'm looking for, with or without you, and running to stand still. Some of the other songs were not that good. Overall decent but nothing that memorable. 3/5
"Kasumi's review for this album has inspired me to hate on the list author in this review. I can think of 20 albums off the top of my head that deserve a spot on this list but this white man just keeps whipping out the same (often mediocre) genre of old British rock that requires you to read 20 Wikipedia pages to understand. I'm sure they're all significant in some way but to quote my wife, "good music shouldn't have to rely on the listener's prior knowledge to be enjoyable or to convey a message". Nothing against this particular album though it was fine I guess. There were too many songs where they just yell the same word every few seconds (ie. change) and they added remixes to the album so I had to sit through that too. Favourites: requiem, bloodsport. 2/5
Finally, something that isn't British MEN. #womenpower #californiagirls. Unrelated, when I saw the album title I immediately thought Justin Beiber. Favourites: our lips are sealed, tonite, and we got the beat. 4/5 because its not British men and the songs were all pretty good
Just okay. The instrumentals were good but there's just too much British rock on this list and everything melts together. Favourites: Babe I'm gonna leave you and black mountain side. 3/5
Nice vibes, very soothing. Favourites: Disney girls (1957), feel flows, surf's up. Overall very pleasant but not the most memorable. High 3/5
Not bad for Irish white men rock, but not the most outstanding album. Favourites: more songs about chocolate and girls, there goes norman, hard luck (again) - B-side version, I told you so. 4/5
I leapt out of my seat upon seeing an album that wasn't released before my great-grandparents were born. Nice vibes, overall enjoyable. Favourites: slow motion, loops in the secret society, the lightning back, I wish. 4/5
Oh goody goody back to our regularly scheduled 70s music. Thank GOD its not another white British man this time. When I saw this album had 4 songs and I was like yay it won't be too long and I looked at the time and it's 53 MINUTES BRO what is this, space truckin by deep purple. Favourites: zombie intro (5 minutes long), all the instrumentals. Overall enjoyable sound but the length of each song is too much. 3/5
I was very glad to see another album that isn't British rock. Pretty good even though I don't usually listen to this genre. The doctor's office was a jumpscare though. Favourites: let me ride, deeez nuuuts (lol), lil' ghetto boy, rat-tat-tat-tat, stranded on death row, bitches ain't shit. Overall an enjoyable listen. 4/5
Yay women, yay not British rock. Very enjoyable and fun. I appreciate how they say the album name in every song they can. Favourites: intro-lude, creep, kick your game, red light special. 4/5
Vocals are pretty bad but instrumentals are good. Favourites: room games and diamond rain, I remember me. 3/5
I don't really like this genre. Favourites: the beautiful people, dried up tied and dead to the world. I understand it's art and everything but it's not that deep Brian. How are you gonna be edgy and be named Brian. Also apparently they did drugs almost constantly to make this album because they needed a ""violent and hostile environment suited to the album's content"" it's never that deep bro you didn't need to do all of that. There are also mega controversies connecting Mr. Brian to murders (done by other people) and assaults (done by him) which cannot be a good sign even if he's innocent. I hate the album cover and I hate the ending of antichrist superstar. Music itself isn't as bad but I don't like the lyrics or Mr. Brian. I was also just informed by my wife that Mr. Brian (white man) over here has said the n word hard r multiple times (3 times just in the first song). Brian makes me nauseous. 1/5
Very fun and enjoyable. I was happy to see another hip-hop album to join the fight against british rock. Favourites: its tricky, walk this way, is it live. 4/5
Oh goody goody how exciting another British band. The songs all sound the same, no favourites because nothing really stood out. Not the worst but not very good. Im in a hater mood right now so 2/5, sorry Mr. Pistols
Very fun and funky. Favourites: ponta de lanca africano, o filosofo. Thank you to Jorge for joining the noble fight against british rock (prayer hands emoji), I appreciate the rare non western addition to the list. 4/5
Favourites: daniibe, lem gi. Overall enjoyable but a little too long. The drums were my favourite part of most songs. I like that I had a chance to listen to a genre I normally wouldn't listen to. 3/5
Another fun and funky album. Favourites: green onions, rinky dink, mo' onions, stranger on the shore, one who really loves you. I enjoyed the instrumentals I appreciate it when men keep their mouths shut (Brian "Marilyn Manson" should take notes). This has potential to be a 5 for me but I'll have to listen to it more. 4/5
This guy is definitely a beatle (derogatory). Favourites: jet, mamunia. Overall just okay, it wasn't very memorable though. 3/5
Lots of classics. Favourites: the stranger, scenes from an italian resturant, vienna, only the good die young, she's always a woman. Not really related but Billy Joel reminds me of an episode of brooklyn 99 where some weird racist old white guy who lived in his mom's house was really into billy joel. 4/5
Nothing stood out to me that much other than a minor place. I couldn't really understand the lyrics because he mumbled a lot which I assume was an artistic choice. Favourites: a minor place. 2/5
Such a joyous day, for we have been blessed by yet another british rock!!!!!!!!! This is truly the most amazing thing to ever happen. Favourites: wild flower, aphrodisiac jacket, love removal machine. It was just okay, good instrumentals but nothing groundbreaking. 3/5
Very calming and pleasant. Instrumentals and vocals were both very good. Each song was a good length, not too long (space truckin take notes). Favourites: stay, misty roses, the face I love, parade (a banda), you didn't have to be so nice. The vibes were immaculate 4/5.
Favourites: I zimbra, life during wartime. I don't hate it but I don't like it. It was fine to have on in the background but it was too long. 2/5
Favourites: save the life of my child, America, old friends (sounds like it's from an old Disney movie), fakin it, Mrs. Robinson. Overall pleasant, not super catchy though. High 3, low 4. I'll pick 4 because the length was very reasonable and the vibes were chill. 4/5
Favourites: high school confidential, money, your cheating heart. Decently fun, but not really my taste. 3/5
Not really my taste in music but very good vocals and an overall pleasant listen. Favourites: rehab, back to black, tears dry on their own, he can only hold her. 3/5
I liked all the fiddle parts. "A crowd pleaser for your Republican in laws" - a review from the generator. Favourites: rock and roll crazies/Cuban bluegrass, both of us (bound to lose), fallen eagles, hide it so deep, the treasure - take one, The music is alright but the album is too bloated, some songs could be cut. 3/5
It's always annoying when a bitch you hate makes somes bangers. Favourites: we don't care, all falls down. Not every song stood out (the last one was just him yapping for 12 minutes) but they were overall enjoyable. 3/5
Soothing and chill. Favourites: intro, islands, heart skipped a beat. Not super catchy songs but the album vibes were very calm and pleasant. 4/5
For some reason I didn't know they did other stuff outside of Jimmy Fallon. A lot of bops in this album. The second half of water was a little scary though also I don't rock with pussy galore or the ending of something in the way of things (in town). Favourites: rock you, sacrifice, rolling with heat, thought @ work, quills. 4/5
Favourites: head over heels, when all is said and done, beginning of I let the music speak, one of us, slipping through my fingers even though it's sad. I liked it but it's not my favorite. 3/5
Not really my type of thing, I didn't enjoy very much. Not the worse though, it's still listenable unlike antichrist superstar. Favourite: felt mountain. 2/5
I liked it but nothing stood out that much. I support Canadians though. Favourites: yyz (Toronto mentioned 🗣️) also I like instrumentals (when men keep their mouths shut), limelight, the camera eye. High 3/5
Favourites: supervixen, queer, only happy when it rains, not my idea, vow, milk. Not bad but not my favorite. 3/5
Very vibey. Favourites: stolen car, couldn't cause me harm, stars all seem to weep, love like laughter. Very sonically coherent and enjoyable to listen to. 4/5
Favourites: Mr tambourine man, I'll feel a whole lot better, chimes of freedom, you and me instrumental. A pleasant album but a little bland for my taste. 3/5
The "violin solo" in the Duchess gave me war flashbacks to grade 9 strings class. Favourites: heaps of sheep, maryan. Started off pretty strong (except for the Duchess) but it got a bit boring in the middle/end. A little too artsy for me. 3/5
Favourites: lost ones, final hour, forgive them father, every ghetto every city, Decent album but a little too long. 3/5
Very satisfying listen, good lyrics, each song flows well and most are bops. Favourites: freedom, if you only knew, break, a day at the races, remember his name (kind of reminded me of Hamilton sorry), what's golden, sum of us, I am somebody. High 4/5, could be a 5 if I listened more and gave it some time.
Decently entertaining. Got jumpscared by the f slur in the first song I don't they can say that. The funky cypress hill shit was really annoying and went on for so long. No favourites, nothing really stood out. It wasn't the best and some lyrics were questionable but still listenable. 3/5
Pleasant but a little boring sorry Micheal and fans. Favourites: girlfriend, it's the falling in love, burn this disco down. 3/5
Pretty chill. Favourites: candy says, what goes on, I'm set free, after hours. I did not enjoy the murder mystery, it was very bad and way too long. Not bad but I don't think it's that special. 3/5
Oh goody goody another 70s rock album and it's live too??? It's my lucky day today wowie I hope it's like Made in Japan my favourite like album ever. 7 songs for 1 hour is insane. Favourites: Statesboro blues, you don't love me intro, hot 'lanta (always appreciate when men keep their mouths shut), in memory of Elizabeth reed. Fire instrumentals but I cannot support 20 minute songs. 4/5
Not usually a fan of country music by Dolly Parton cooked with this one. Favourites: coat of many colors,my blue tears, early morning breeze, the way I see you. Very soothing and sonically cohesive. 4/5
Short and sweet, thank you William. Favourites: time of the preacher theme, red headed stranger, down yonder, remember me. Calming and chill. 3/5
2 songs in 38 minutes is insane. Despite the 20 minute long songs, I enjoyed both, especially since they were both instrumental. The first one was upbeat and fun and the second was soothing and relaxing. 4/5
Interesting and unique. I liked the elements of Indian music. Favourites: sleep on the left side, brimful of Asha, chocolat, we're in your corner, good shit, good to be on the road back home again, Candyman. I would rate it higher if it was edited because some songs weren't that good and made the album drag on, even though there were many good songs. 3/5
Very enjoyable background music. Favourites: peaches en regalia, Willie the pimp instrumental parts, son of Mr green genes. Always appreciate it when a man keeps his mouth shut and has banger instrumentals. 4/5
Favourites: custard pie, houses of the holy, trampled under foot, bron-yr-aur, boogie with Stu. I guess it's okat. Run time was too long sorry Mr. Zeppelin but I did not have the patience for this today. Music wasn't bad but it's not really my taste. 3/5
They scare me a little, very Jojo Siwa coded (I know she copied them). Favourites: great expectations, flaming youth, Beth. I appreciate the length of the album. Music was just okay, a little forgettable for me. 3/5
Favourites: inspiration information, island letter, sparkle city, rainy day, XL-30, pling!, not available, sweet thing. Pretty pleasant, I liked the non lyrical songs a lot they increased the album rating. 4/5
I like the folky vibes. Reminded me of Gregorian chants a little. Favourites: light flight, hunting song, Sally go round the roses, house carpenter, cold mountain. Not sure why they needed 3 versions of Sally go round but okay. 3/5
A little bit manic pixie dream girl in a bad way. At least the album wasn't that long. Maps was the only song I liked, a rare album generator add to my playlist. Y control was okay, but everything else was unpleasant to me. 2/5
Pretty nice and upbeat but too repetitive. Favourites: porcelain, why does my heart feel so bad?, rushing, everloving, guitar flute and string. Overall pretty good but I think it would be improved if some songs were cut/edited out because it dragged on for too long. 3/5
Favourites: sorrow, little faith, afraid of everyone, bloodbuzz Ohio (lol Ohio), runaway, conversion 16, england, vanderlyle crybaby geeks. Not bad but a little monotonous for me. 3/5
The music is okay, lyrics are interesting. Overall not that good. Apparently he's mega racist and an "extreme vegan" which is unfortunate. Favourites: Irish blood English heart, come back to Camden, let me kiss you. 2/5
Unless you're Taylor Swift, a 9 minute song is not needed, let alone TWO. The double titles on half the album is also unnecessary just pick one title. Music was not super interesting and the album was too long. Favourites: holiday/Boulevard of broken dreams, give me novacaine/she's a rebel.
I'm in a hater mood today. 2/5
Not super good but still enjoyable. Very chill. Favourites: la femme d'argent, ce matin-là. Good instrumentals but a little too long also I'm not a fan of french "people". 3/5
I was surprised by how many of these songs I recognized probably from Canadian radio when I was little. Favourites: you oughta know, hand in my pocket, forgiven, you learn, head over feet, ironic. Not sure why there was a mega long pause in the middle of you oughta know Jimmy the saint blend that was weird. 4/5
Favourites: water from a vine leaf, harry flowers, water babies. I thought I would like it more since the beginning was pretty good but it fell off. A bit too long and boring. 2/5
Smooth and funky. Favourites: i.g.y, green flower street, Maxine, new frontier. Pleasant listen. 4/5
Not bad but not super interesting. Favourites: holes, I collect coins, opus 40, Hudson line, goddess on a hiway. Decent but too long also a weird silence in the middle of the last song. 3/5
Good vocals and I understand the cultural importance of this album but it drags a little especially in the middle. Favourites: bye bye love, half as much, just a little lovin (will go a long way), oh lonesome me, take these chains from my heart. Very soothing but could use some editing. 3/5
Unfortunately very good. Favourites: dark fantasy, all of the lights, monster, runaway.4/5
Favourites: pleasant Street, once I was, phantasmagoria in two. Not really my type of genre. 2/5
Not very coherent. Favourites: stillness is the move, two doves, useful chamber. Very artsy and hard to enjoy. 2/5
Favourites: cloud nine, runaway child running wild, hey girl, I need your lovin, I gotta find a way (to get you back), keep on tryin til I win your love. Pleasant and fun. 4/5
