Favorite Songs: Killer Queen Stone Cold Crazy also liked: In The Lap of Gods...Revisited Lily of The Valley Flick of the Wrist Misfire sounds like a Christine McVie song (Fleetwood Mac) HATED Dear Friends Bring Back That Leroy Brown???? was weird Definitely hear the beginnings of Night at the Opera. The operatic style is prevelant but not as polished or inspired as Bohemian Rhapsody. 3 stars

good kid, m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar
Mar 09 2024

good kid m.A.A.d city money tree poetic justice sing about me

Hot Fuss by The Killers
Mar 13 2024

Songs I knew: Somebody Told Me (semi banger) Mr. Brightside (semi banger) All These Things That I've Done Liked: Midnight snow Didn't like: On Top (didn't like the synth - corny) Everything Will Be Alright (opening felt like a Queen song a bit) Glamorous Indie Rock & Roll (lol this is so embarassing) Literally 3/12 songs are listenable

Here, My Dear by Marvin Gaye
Mar 14 2024

chill vibes master of the love song i would love stats on how many babies were made to this album don’t really have a fave/least fave because the whole album just feels like sitting on a bench in the park during the first days of spring it’s a very long album tho!!! 14 songs - 1 hour and 13 mins

Fifth Dimension by The Byrds
Mar 15 2024

Sounds like something the brady bunch would listen to. Fave: Mr. Spaceman, Hey Joe, 242 Fox Trot, Psychodrama City Least: I Come and Stand at Every Door (dramatic), John Riley I don’t really like the story songs. Some songs sounded more modern classic rock and some sounded like colonial rock.

Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division
Mar 16 2024

I don’t think I ever listened to this album all the way through before, but it feels so cohesive. All of the songs sound like they live in the same world. I really like that. Love the bass part on wilderness. 4.5

Appetite For Destruction by Guns N' Roses
Mar 17 2024

Obviously lots of bangers - catchy melodies and riffs. I have never heard Mr. Brownstone before - that one was kinda weird. I don’t like My, Michelle. Never heard Rocket Queen before and I like that one a lot. The music is sick. Least fave: Anything Goes 3.5

Hejira by Joni Mitchell
Mar 18 2024

Fave: Hejira, Coyote Least fave: Amelia, Strange Boy I'm not a huge fan of folk story songs, but obvs Joni Mitchell is amazing

Back To Black by Amy Winehouse
Mar 19 2024

Amazing, jazzy singing and music but I'm honestly not sure how many of these songs are original and how many are covers...that's how they sound - not in a bad way - they really sound like a blast from the past. I like a lot of the songs on their own, but as an album it's a jazz overload for me. Least Fave: Love is a Losing Game, Just Friends Fave: Back to Black, You Know I'm No Good

Live And Dangerous by Thin Lizzy
Mar 20 2024

*Live performance* Knew a good amount of these songs, but never knew what the band was. This is another one that sounds like my childhood. Fave: The Boys Are Back in Town 3.5

This is not what I thought The Kinks were - very war focused, Beatles-ish Brit Pop Rock. But also had this like hippy/renaissance fair vibe. Didn't hate it. Definitely some catchy tunes but very different from other Kinks songs I know like Lola or You Really Got Me. 3.5

Music From Big Pink by The Band
Mar 22 2024

The first half of this album was strange and once again had that 70s thing where it sounds like it could be played at a renaissance fair. The second half of the album was a little more digestible. Fave: Caledonia Mission, The Weight (I already knew this song) Least: Tears of Rage, To Kingdom Come

Mar 23 2024

most of these songs feel like children’s music. fave: johnny thunder, people take pictures of each other least: annabella <~ why was it so scary “people take pictures of each other just to prove they existed”

Darkdancer by Les Rythmes Digitales
Mar 24 2024

90s club music. Not something i would listen to randomly but good beats and catchy hooks and lyrics. 3.5

Either Or by Elliott Smith
Mar 26 2024

1st half was better. Emo solo dude with some british pop/indie rock sounds Least faves: Cupids trick, Angeles Fave: Ballad of Big Nothing (i’d heard this before)

Superfly by Curtis Mayfield

Django Django by Django Django
