Did not know EWF made soul/funk. Knew them before from their more disco hits. Not a favorite genre but pleasently surprised, especially 'all about love', 'reasons', 'yearnin' learnin''. The singer with a highly note has a nice and unique voice.
Lets get it on, one of the most seductive songs ever. No other songs really sticks out, but all are really good. Such a nice and silky voice. Nice heartfelt ballad to end the album

Better than expected, his singing voice is not my cup of tea, i get the appeal though. But what makes this album is the distorted guitars and drums.
Hesitant to like this album, due to the worlds obsession with Swift. Its crazy how economies can be affected by a a Taylor Swift concert. With that said, i really like this album, probably one of my favorite so far. Easy to listen to and very good production. Going to be honest and say that i didnt really pay attention to the lyrics, but did not hear anything that made me not wanna listen.

Solid older people tunes
It took me many attempts before i got through the first song and listened to the rest of the album. After a while it is almost listenable. The only reedeming quality is how difficult it is to listen to, makes it atleast interesting, you want to turn it off but at the same time not. But in the end it is not very good.
Last great Kanye album, such a relief to listen to something good (tried to listen to trout mask replica, last album i got). Every song has incredible production. Shame Kanye started acting out. Still really enjoy this. Maybe an unpopular opinion but i really like his stupid bars. Hip-Hop can be so serious at times, a little chessy and corny bar from Kanye breaks the tension very well. Nicki Minaj verse on monster is superb.
I really like butterflies. I love country and Pop which this album seems to blend very well. Rainbow is a good way to end the album. Some songs did not feel so special but none were by no means bad.

It is fine, there are some cool sounds in this album but very repetitive. I can appreciate the fact no guitars were used and how electronic it was for its time

Toughts this would be a drag due to being a double album. But i very much enjoyed this, did not get sick of the sound. Ray Charles is great, the piano, horns and everything else is great. My mind is saying 4 but my heart is saying 5.
Songs go on for a little too long and is very repetitive. Some songs are cool like around the world, indo silver club and revolution 909. I'd probably enjoy this much more at a club.
Live music at a country bar vibe, no outstanding song but no song thats bad. I like the theme and concept, the interlude "three great alabama icons" is cool, but im interest in american history and culture so probably not for most. I can see myself returning one day and listen to it like a movie. A 3 for now could get higher.
