I’ve seen Portishead around for a long time, but never gave them a chance because of the album artwork and name. If the band name album name and album artwork better reflected the music I would’ve bought this record along time ago!

Meh. I don’t understand what the big deal is about the Smashing Pumpkins. They’re not bad, I just don’t know why the big hub-bub.

Went back and listened to the White Stripes records (who I had written off) and have loved Jack Whites progression. His records will be in regular rotation now! Blunderbuss doesn’t disappoint!

Interesting. For better for worse, it sounds like an instructional guitar video from the 1980s! A stand out track for music was Why Worry.

Good record, reminds me of Weezer Blue, The Posies Frosting…, and REM. Love the vocal harmonies. I wish the artwork better represented the sound.
