Popular Reviews

Some of the best songs in this album are some of the best songs in modern rap music, but overall it's super overproduced to the point of being annoying. I do not like

In Rainbows by Radiohead
Sep 10 2024

It's literally my favourite album ever. Funny that it was the first to come up

Rage Against The Machine by Rage Against The Machine
Sep 11 2024

Came into this album expecting to hate it. Putting rage in the same bracket as limp bizkit and system of a down is an insult. The angsty white dudes in this band actually have some real shit to say. Might relisten

Get Behind Me Satan by The White Stripes
Sep 12 2024

White stripes fell of with their last couple records. It's not a hard listen by any means. Just boring af. Would never have relistened if not for this site

Grace by Jeff Buckley
Sep 13 2024

Gotta give it a full listen. The songwriting in this album is beautiful. I fully think it deserves the praise it gets, but probably needs a remaster to reach 5* as the mixing is kinda outdated in my opinion. Obv tho that probably won't happen out of respect for Buckley who died at 30 by the way

Since I Left You by The Avalanches
Sep 16 2024

An absolute masterclass in sampling but gets kinda repetitive. I don't think it's overrated but not on my personal rotation

Bitte Orca by Dirty Projectors
Sep 18 2024

Very surprised this album made the book. The vocals are just really annoying. It doesn't do anything exciting. Every song kinda just sounds the same. It's not actually one of the worst albums I've ever listened to but compared to everything else in this list it's pretty shit

The Bends by Radiohead
Sep 19 2024

4th best Radiohead album. Still 5*. No skips, some absolute bangers and just overall fantastic

Scum by Napalm Death
Sep 20 2024

Lmao

Sep 23 2024

Great story telling. Was probably a fantastic album by 1959 standards. But every song quite literally is the same song with different lyrics. Would not listen again

Birth Of The Cool by Miles Davis
Sep 24 2024

Was aight. Jazz isn't my thing tbh, unless it's played live

Street Signs by Ozomatli
Sep 26 2024

The album isn't on Spotify but I'm listening to all the tracks I can find. Update - One song in and I'm very confused Update 2 - They sampled Barack Obama? Blending Latin music with hip hop just isn't it rly. Interesting record. Wouldn't relisten

Tanto Tempo by Bebel Gilberto
Sep 27 2024

Really easy listen. Not my sort of thing tho. Probably wouldn't listen again

Green by R.E.M.
Sep 28 2024

I didn't think this would be as shit as it actually is. Really not for me at all

Melody A.M. by Röyksopp
Sep 30 2024

Was really good, but I was high af listening to it so might not actually be as good as I remember

Rock 'N Soul by Solomon Burke
Oct 01 2024

This is really good

Sign 'O' The Times by Prince
Oct 02 2024

Great pop rock album. Would die happy if I never get to listen to it again

Unhalfbricking by Fairport Convention
Oct 04 2024

Great singer songwriter album. Got a bit boring at points, especially Cajun woman and Percy's song, but overall really good

Hunky Dory by David Bowie
Oct 05 2024

Arguably Bowie's best album. I prefer Black Star and I'll die on that hill, but this is still an incredible record

Throwing Muses by Throwing Muses
Oct 06 2024

Didn't blow me away tbh

All Directions by The Temptations
Oct 07 2024

Funké Fav Track - Papa was a Rollin' stone

Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen
Oct 08 2024

Overrated

Yank Crime by Drive Like Jehu
Oct 11 2024

Shouty ass Midwest emo. Score depends on how I'm feeling

This album started imo the greatest movement in music history. Joy Divison, The Cure, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Smiths..... All wouldn't have started making music were it not for this album. That said, there's better music out there, and some of the shit said is not exactly politically correct by today's standards. Tf did Queen Liz do anyway?

The Wildest! by Louis Prima
Oct 15 2024

Very Italian. Very 50s.

Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division
Oct 19 2024

This album changed music forever. Some of the most genius basslines ever written. Amazing. Incredible. 5 Stars.

Oct 29 2024

Some of the best songs in this album are some of the best songs in modern rap music, but overall it's super overproduced to the point of being annoying. I do not like

Abbey Road by Beatles
Nov 13 2024

Not personally my favourite Beatles album but still great. Has no real misses and is obviously one of the most important albums of all time for all the way it revolutionised production. Very good overall

3 Feet High and Rising by De La Soul
Nov 15 2024

One of the most important rap albums of all time. Idk what to say other than that the songs in it are good 👍
