Pretty good. Activist lyrics, interesting folk / punk combi, but I'm missing a wow factor

Surprisingly good! I thought Bruce Springsteen was a bit lame (biassed), but it's actually really nice and wholesome music

Absolutely loved it. Only down side was two whiney songs that abruptly broke the grove imo. Why did metal bands in those days insist on making balads, even if they clearly werent very good at it?

Not a big fan of thrash, but I can hear that the album is good. Just not for me

Not for me. Just a bunch of badly arranged sounds in my opinion. Not enough quality to be able to hide behind the avant garde label

Good album, with some real classics and some less iconic but really good songs like The Union Forever

Fun! I had never heard of them. Especially the first songon the album is an instant new wave classic. The rest of the album doesn't live up to the expectations set by the first song imo

Amazing album. One of the best 3 from RHCP imo, together with Californicaiton and By The Way.

Kinda funny. Not a huge punk fan though. I'll listen again to it sometime, but it's not gonna be high in my playlists

Super tacky, but I love it

This era of britpop was amazing, with this album being one of the pinacles of that era

I mean... A bit boring, but if you listen to it at the right moment (when your in need of some calm) it's certainly beautiful. Sounds like one of those albums that was genre defining at the time, but has since been improved upon.

I like the blend of genres, but the chosen samples are plain annoying at times, so I can't really get into it

Pretty insane that this music was made already end of the 80's. I also hear the inspiration RHCP must have taken from them. All in all pretty cool, but this style has since been improved upon better by other bands

I love it. Gets a little bit cringey towards the end (we get it, you like marijuana) but come on... He's the OG king of the bongo. What a hero in his own right
