Highway 61 Revisited
Bob DylanNot my cuppa. Quite annoying music imo. But it’s my first bob dylan album so that’s good

Fantastic album. Just on the break between their rock/pop era towards the disco. Happy music that set the tone of the day! 5/5
Not my genre usually! But really enjoyed the lyrics and the beats. I’ve heard a lot about this particular album from people who understand and love rap. Fun to listen to something you usually don’t hear and glad I did it.
I love Bowie! I like this album and especially the instrumental songs. This album is like a journey between “2 bowies”. Or the whole trio loft does of Low, Heroes and Lodger. Heavy influenced by Berlin and ambient sounds. It’s playful and fun to listen too. Sounds like he was very inspired while creating this album
It was ok. So difficult to say when it’s not your genre. But it felt like Muzak to me. Appreciated the slower songs more.
Not my cuppa
Fun album. Gets you in a good mood. It’s nice to look back to these moments in time when music radically changed. You can hear the liberation and the fun and the pride. And nothing was the same afterwards, which is fascinating
It’s imcredible to get to listen to all these artists I’ve always known about but never listened to.
Boring Boring Boring. All songs sounds the same
Loved it! It’s right in between two styles of Beatles I feel. Sounds like they’re on their way somewhere and it also seems to have been q influential for more psychedelic rock
Pleasantly surprised! Read the synopsis and it said singer song writer which is so bland to me. But this felt very cinematic and bold and dramatic yet gentle and cosy. Would listen again
Too much rock in this list
What a trip down memory lane. Grew up with this album. Love the heavy synthesisers on top of the pop rock happy go lucky sound. Beautiful lay arranged and curated. Felt happy and empowered by it
Never been a hip hop person but obviously heard about Kendrick. Plus I’ve heard he’s the greatest! And I agree, I fully enjoyed this album. Nice beats but mainly sick lyrics.
I realised I don’t like blues
Too much rock in this list. Boring.
Unbelievable! So many classics in one album. Had a lovely time listening. Incredible lyrics
I do love me some krautrock but yesterday I was not in the mood. Saving it for another day. But liked the little I heard
Enjoyed it so much. Makes you happy with some country. And pissing myself at the lyrics so bloody dramatic
Incredible arrangements. Felt good in the brain to listen to this.
Love this Joni
Piss and shit. Sounds like every other “singer songwriter” album out there. Zzz
Ok
This was one of the best listening experiences so far of this challenge. What an incredible album. I love a lengthy album. The music builds beautifully and lies. So right in your eardrum. Lyrics are incredible too. Joy in my tears and black man gave me chills. Never listened to a striver album back to back
Very much enjoyed!
The right ammonit of trippy. Also found songs that have been covered from them By others and never knew it was theirs first.
I really want to like cyndi but it’s something about that voice that I don’t like. Time after time is a banger because she’s not yelling in that one lol. But it’s obviously a very big milestone in fashion and sound. Didn’t know she had made a cover of Prince or vice verse.
Very good album actually. Should have stuck to this kind of music. Whatever. I’m not a MJ fan but this is smooth and nice and sexy.
Grew up with this album! And Freddy Mercurys voice is better than ever on this one
Incredible never heard this before or even knew who this was. But it was an audible journey that I really enjoyed
Never listened to a full album Of the Rolling Stones so was a good experience
I love these early albums of queen. Such concept and wit and flamboyance. Beautiful arrangements and songs. Mercury’s voice is so good on this album (too)
