1001 Albums Summary

I never really got into Garbage. Idk if they just didn't hit my radar or what but this album won't change that. It was just very meh. I'm not sure what to rate it because it's just so unremarkable.

Funky, soulful. Puts me in a good mood Everytime.

This is clearly a 5. Anyone who says different has no taste.

Sonic Youth is always a good time.

This sounds just like the other Blue album we listened to. Ok, nothing special. Bit boring.

This album is pretty out there. I like Todd Rundgren but this is certainly not my favorite album of his.

I don't really understand jazz. It's enjoyable for a bit but then it sort of all blends together.

I need to be in a mood to listen to this but it's certainly fun

I do have a love for the psychedelic 60s. My parents had some albums that I dove into at about 10 or 11. That did it. It was captivating. Took me to another world that wasn't the shitty one I was living in. This album takes me back to those days. Sitting in the garage spinning albums from artists I was only discovering.

Oh I have been dreading this album. I have never enjoyed Iron Maiden. TBF I never really listened to it but it was always in the periphery. My cousins, brother, step brother, guy friends at school. Just not my thing

Ok, I can't handle this kind of crap. I don't really enjoy hip hop or rap. The skits are just annoying. I can see why it might be influential but it's not for me. I do remember a few songs from the time it came out so there was a bit of nostalgia but not enough to make it a 3.

I love this album. At times it gets a bit too hipster but I don't mind. It's a great mellow listen.

Surprising and beautiful

No, I don't get it. Again just absolutely annoying. A couple good songs but listening to this as whole makes me want to jam pencils in my ears. And it's about an hour and a half too long

Super weird but enjoyable listen.

Went into this with high hopes. I love the 80s and try to devour everything I find that I may have missed the first time around but baby this ain't it . I can see where it wants to go but they didn't make it.

I completely lost track of this while I was listening to it. Generally unremarkable but enjoyable.

When this came out I loved it. It's Madonna, there are some solid songs but I'm just not a fan.

I only ever listened to 1999, Purple Rain, Around the World in a Day, the Batman soundtrack. While those are outstanding, this was just meh. Three just because it's Prince.

LL is good to look at and during the time this came out I wouldn't turn the radio if he came in but this is just bad. TBf there are very few rap albums I can stomach. But this just isn't very good. Extra star because I had a crush when I was a teen.

I really wanted to like this and I do but I wouldn't listen to it again. I might check out more of their albums though

I listened to this my first go round. It's interesting but not something I'd listen to again.

Too much random unnecessary noises. Making songs longer than need be. I like a few songs but I wouldn't choose to listen to this. If a song came in the radio I wouldn't turn it. I'd put a song or two on a playlist but as a whole, no thank you.

Finally something that doesn't suck. This list seems to be full of shit I NEVER needed to hear. It's disappointing to say the least.

When this came out I would have rated it a 5. I listened to it incessantly. I was obsessed but now as an old lady I don't get that same feeling and have a hard time getting through this album. Young me would hate old me lol

This is the first album I bought myself. Paid a quarter for it at a garage sale when I was about 10 or 11. Had no idea what it was, just thought it looked cool. This album is perfect, no skips. 10!
