Well done, hot dog bun.
One of my favorite albums of all time. First time listen was on vinyl during covid zooted alone in my room. Almost Cut My Hair is a spiritual song for me
Welcome to my channel Most albums will be listened to on my morning bike ride to school. The following encompasses the conditions of such listens: - A 6x3 inch speaker with no bass which will compete with the sounds of wind and traffic - An idyllic bike path next to the river accompanied by the magnificence of wildlife - Young families and children on their way to school who will be also enjoying the music from my speaker - A mindset shift to prepare myself for a day of teaching 13 and 14 year olds Please accept these conditions as a caveat to any ratings or reviews. Needless to say, I feel ready to bring the ruckus to some middle schoolers today.
Up there for the best cover of that Luke combs song
Needed more juice on a cloudy morning Squirrels are looking fat, winter is coming
DNF Can see it banging at the time but sounds dated compared to where pop is now. Switched over to a second listen of the Wu-Tang album instead. Kid yeeted a chair at the school printer yesterday
Fiddleheads rise up
In NYC this weekend, listened to it in Central Park which added to the experience. Still kinda forgettable.
East coast hip hop gets an automatic 4 at least. A great Monday morning treat. Listened to some J5 when I was younger, but hadn’t heard this album. Some standouts and I like the outro.
What an album. Skeptical at first, then got me into a groove on the bike. Love the thick, rumbling bass lines contrasted against the lighter guitar and organ riffs. Waiting and anticipating to see where each song would go. Best surprise of my year as an audioslave so far.
Couldn’t make out a single lyric on my bike but got me in a good groove. Slappa da bass man
Album couldn’t sound more like 1968. Fun songwriting
First half has me ready to do a Jan 6

Liked the change up in the last two songs. Anytime one of these albums has a song that I know I feel like the Leonardo DiCaprio pointing at the tv meme
Surprised at how much is in this album. The title track is almost a bait and switch for the b-sides. Alma Mater could almost be a 2015 car seat headrest or twin peaks song
Some wacky songs
Brain is broken so I pictured Fred Armisen singing his Maggie thatcher song the whole time
Did you know they were actually married
One of the albums growing up that made me realize I like music
Album kept getting better
Got mildly jaded when “Dreamer” came on and I realized my brain has been conditioned to imagine it alongside a commercial for a 2012 Mazda crv that has a child wearing a space helmet in the backseat gazing out the sunroof (jk it’s actually an Apple vision commercial which is worse) But great album
Always thought rod stewart made Tony Bennett music so this was some musical education Fine album but I’d rather just listen to his contemporaries and the originals
A 5 but the guys a murderer or whatever so
