Besides Higher Ground, I’d never given any of these songs a listen. Loved this album- what a fuckin journey. Golden Lady, Jesus Children and mistra know it all were my favorites.
Perfect wallowing album full of pensive despair for Inauguration Day. John Cale kinda drama on the strings. Heard only Andy Beys version of River Man prior. Definitely a favorite. Honorable mention for Three Hours.

Goddamn I always thought I was more of a Sabbath gal, but maybe not. that knocked my socks off. That man can sing. I also definitely liked it more the second listen. Takes a minute to marinate

Reminds me of Radiohead in the worst ways. After track 3 I was intrigued. Somewhat intriguing and cinematic- vocals were just grating though.

David Byrne is a visionary. This one might take the cake over remain in light ; the good thing, found a job, artists only, I’m not in love, stay hungry we’re favorites actually it’s too hard to pick. I was audibly excited by every single track.
