The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe
Mar 18 2025

I only know of Janelles album ‘Dirty Computer’ so this was an interesting introduction to more of her discography. I liked some songs more than others, my favourites were probably the opener Tightrope and Say you’ll go (did love the Claire de lune reference)

Disintegration by The Cure
Mar 19 2025

Very atmospheric, Very cure. My favs on this one are Plainsong, Lovesong and The Same Deep Water As You. The songs are prettyyyy long sometimes but still enjoyable.

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Mar 20 2025

Damn the chilis love singing about California and Flea really knows how to make a funky bass line. I grew up listening to this album. Not sure if i like ‘Around the world’ much but my favs are still my favs: Scar tissue, Otherside, Californication

Music From Big Pink by The Band
Mar 21 2025

good kid, m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar
Mar 31 2025

I enjoy this album and I feel like I come back to the songs on this one a lot more compared to TPAB. Favourites: Money Trees, m.A.A.d city, Swimming Pools (Drank) and Sing About Me, I’m Dying of Thirst. Rating: 4.5

Hot Buttered Soul by Isaac Hayes
Apr 01 2025

Good background music but a bit too long for my liking

Tigermilk by Belle & Sebastian
Apr 02 2025

This was a fun album. However, flow of the album was a bit disjointed with electronic renaissance in the middle and I was getting a little bored towards the end. Favourite: She’s losing it Least: Electronic renaissance Rating: 3.5

The Stone Roses by The Stone Roses
Apr 08 2025

classic album that has clearly influenced a lot of the newer artists i listen to, only thing is the last few songs have pretty long instrumental sections which i may skip on re-listens. Fav: i wanna be adored, she bangs the drums, waterfall, elizabeth my dear, fools gold. Least fav: dont stop.

Basket of Light by Pentangle
Apr 09 2025

Not my cup of tea tbh, I can understand why some people like it but its weird in the wrong way for me… 2 stars seems a bit mean but idk about 3 so would rate a 2.8

Electric Warrior by T. Rex
Apr 10 2025

I did’t mind this album although some of the songs did kinda sound the same and blended into one another. I recognised a couple of them but overall was new to me. very mid

Exile On Main Street by The Rolling Stones
Apr 14 2025

i liked this album and would listen again, but its pretty long… no super strong opinions just some classic rolling stones tunes!

The Cars by The Cars
Apr 21 2025

Fairly enjoyable listen! Definitely prefer the more rock focused songs over the synths. Fav: my best friend’s girl, just what i needed, you’re all i’ve got tonight, bye bye love Least: I’m in touch with your world rating: 3.8

Blue by Joni Mitchell
Apr 22 2025

Enjoyable study music, I like that the album is short and sweet as I feel like if it was any longer I wouldn’t enjoy it as much.

Apr 23 2025

yipee to most of the album, not a fan of ‘Jamaica Jerk off’ or ‘dirty little girl’… Favs: Candle in the wind, Bennie and the Jets, Goodbye yellow brick road, Grey seal, Saturday night’s alright for fighting. Rating: 3.8

Loved this album! Have heard the singles before but was nice to hear the whole thing. Favs: Hanging on the telephone, One way or another, Sunday girl, Heart of glass. Specific rating: 4.5

May 14 2025

I fear this album is filled with bangers, there is a reason it is so popular. Favs: Roll with it, Don’t look back in anger, Hey now!, She’s Electric Least: Some might say Actual score: 4.5 -0.5 for the Gallagher brothers

Permission to Land by The Darkness

1989 by Taylor Swift
Jul 18 2025
In Rainbows by Radiohead
Oct 15 2025

Genuinely saw a double rainbow on my walk whilst listening to this album, definitely added to the experience. One of my favourite radiohead records, i love the mixture of quite gentle moments with the grand instrumental parts and the time signature changes favs: 15 step, nude, weird fishes/arpeggi, all i need, jigsaw falling into place least: house of cards (but i still like this one!) 4.5/5 plus the extra half for the rainbow

Parachutes by Coldplay
Nov 07 2025

one of my fav coldplay albums because of the big nostalgia factor favs: don’t panic, sparks, yellow, trouble, we never change actual rating: 4.5/5
