GermsAn absolute classic and one of the best punk albums ever, imo. All of the chaotic energy you could ask for along with Crash's incredible lyricism. Top notch

This album really came and went for me. Nothing about it was bad by any means, but it quickly became inoffensive background music to me. None of the choruses or instrumentals stuck with me after multiple listens. I was very meh. The ratings don't use half ratings, but I'd give this a 2.5/5 to be more accurate
The World is a Ghetto - War Easy 5 stars I had no concept of War outside of Low Rider, but I was surprised at how catchy and funky this album was. City, Country, City might genuinely be the best song I've heard in a while. Idk if War has anymore albums on the list, but I'm definitely going through their other albums on my own
Not super familiar with folk music or folk rock, but I really appreciated this album. It felt very heartfelt, vulnerable, and sincere. Stevens' singing style and the mood of the album didn't feel like it changed much, so songs started to feel really similar to each other, but that's a minor gripe for how good this album is
An absolutely beautiful album. Even without knowing the words, the music itself was so dynamic and catchy and powerful that it earned a five star rating.
Live albums aren't my go to albums for any artist, but the appeal of a live album feels very apparent on this album. Fast, loose, charismatic and soulful throughout the whole album. A great listen overall
Coat Of Many Colors - Dolly Parton I'm not a big country music fan, so I figured there'd be a cap on how much I'd actually like this album, but Dolly's songwriting ability really made this a more enjoyable listen than I expected While the slower instrumentals of this album don't do anything for me, they set the stage for Dolly well. Her singing felt too warbled and flimsy in parts, but she does a great job of making whatever she talks about sound interesting. From her experiencing a summer breeze to losing a man to her mother, she makes her subject matter incredibly interesting to me with how poetic and heartfelt her lyrics are I don't see myself going back to this, but I'm glad I heard it. 3/5

An incredibly odd album with some interesting highs and terrible lows. The sounds used on this album range from upbeat and tinkering electronics, thumping trip hop drums, and sounds I can only describe as the cartoony and futuristic squelching of a ray gun from an old 8 bit SNES game Despite some big misses, I do respect the experimental nature of the album and really found myself enjoying the moments where the album slowed down and went away from the odd cartoony moments There's genuinely some stuff on here that I'd love to go back to, so it's hard to really nail it as bad. Odd and inconsistent, but not bad
While I don't expect any of this album to be part of my daily listening rotation, Frank Sinatra's crooning and the jazzy stylings of this album made for an enjoyable listen. Listening to this album felt like I could envision the set pieces of a romantic movie from the 60's. I value music that can give you an experience that can fully envelope you, even if it's not something I will go back to regularly
This is more like a 3.75 than just a regular 3 stars. I love punk music, but not the biggest Green Day or pop punk fan in general. Dookie isn't full pop punk, but it feels like it's right on the edge of it

The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses 5 stars I'd never heard of this band before I got this album, but it is incredible. Not a skip on the whole album. I don't necessarily have the reference points to really describe this album, but it was catchy, psychedelic, and just a great listen I saw something that compared them to The Smiths, who I love, so I'm not surprised I liked this in hindsight
Bubbly, fun, and more rock driven than I expected. This was a really fun listen. There was no dip in quality throughout this album, but certain songs hit me was more than others. 11:59, Will Anything Happen, and Hanging in the Telephone were the big standouts for me and will be mainstay listens for me

Rated it a 4, but it'd be more like 4.5. Small nitpicks about some songs keeps it from a 5, but this album is incredible The middle of this album from Damaged Goods to Glass is a sweet spot of rowdyness and interesting concepts that the early and later portions of the album didn't really meet again, but are still great songs. This album feels like an interesting in between of what early punk was with glimpses of what post punk would be without the gloomy elements. Once again, amazing album
Fuck Elvis
This was a very dry and boring album to me. This album doesn't do anything wrong or blatantly bad, but I can't away with very little after multiple listens Not a lot of memorable verses and a majority of songs are the same way. Comparing Kool Keith's odd and twisting verse on DDT to almost everything else feels like night and day in terms of entertainment Jurassic 5 weren't the only group rapping about the state of rap and it's issues, but I feel like it'd been done much better before this album and by other conscious contemporaries in the early 00s
Unique, fast paced and catchy from top to bottom. This whole album is such a fun and punchy experience from beginning to end And at less than 40 minutes, it doesn't overstay it's welcome and stay fresh the whole time A new favorite for sure
More accurately a 3.75 this record is my favorite Offspring album It not a go to for me when listening to punk, but it delivers a pretty fun listen. Nothing groundbreaking for the genre, but I've always liked the voice and singing style of their frontman and a lot of the musical elements you'd see after they went full pop punk seem present but much more subdued and it makes for a better listen than their later work to me
